In an interview with ANI, Akshay Kumar opened up about reuniting with his ex-fiancee, Raveena Tandon after 20 years. Talking about the same, Khiladi Kumar revealed that they are doing a film called Welcome To The Jungle. Mentioning that they will soon begin the shooting of the film, Akshay stated that after a long time, he will share the screen with Raveena. In his words:
"We're doing a film called Welcome to the Jungle for which we will begin shooting soon. And that song is a brilliant song, and even Tip Tip Barsa Paani also. We've done many hit films together, and I am looking forward to starting the shoot. After a long time, we will be together on the same screen."

It was on September 9, 2023, when Akshay announced a film with his ex-flame, Raveena. Taking to his IG handle, the actor dropped a video and announced his next film, Welcome To The Jungle. However, it was the presence of Raveena in the clip that caught our attention. Well, the actor is all set to share the screen with his ex-fiancee after 20 years, and it is indeed going to be a celebration time for their fans.

Earlier, in a conversation with the ETimes, Raveena spoke about her equation with her ex-fiance, Akshay Kumar. Talking about the same, the actress mentioned that they have moved on in their lives and are 'still friends' with each other. Elaborating more on it, Raveena said:
"Akshay and I are still friends. You need to respect it and move on. I think of him very highly. I think he is one of the strongest pillars of our industry."

For those who don't know, Akshay and Raveena met for the first time in 1994, on the sets of their film, Mohra. Soon, the couple fell in love with each other and they even got secretly engaged. However, destiny had other plans as Raveena and Akshay broke up after the latter allegedly cheated on the former. In a 1999 interview with Stardust, Raveena talked about her engagement with Akshay and revealed why the actor kept shut about the same back then. The actress mentioned that Akshay was a rising star and he was scared to lose his female fan following, because of which they remained tight-lipped about their engagement.
