Akshay Kumar is one of the most talented and handsome actors in Bollywood. The actor rules over the hearts of millions, courtesy of his charming personality and exceptional acting skills. Akshay is one such actor who is known for his ethics and values. And something similar was witnessed earlier when he cut out his connection with the brand, Vimal. However, now, yet again, Akshay is creating a stir on the internet as a video of the actor with Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn from Vimal ad went viral.
A few minutes ago, while scrolling through our Instagram feed, we stumbled upon a video of Akshay Kumar. The video was a snippet from Vimal's new ad. In the video, Ajay Devgn and Shah Rukh Khan can be seen promoting the brand along with Khiladi Kumar. The ad also featured actress, Soundarya Sharma. The ad begins with SRK and Ajay waiting on the street for Akshay. At the end of the video, all three stars consume Vimal and do the signature style of the brand.

Akshay's video from the Vimal ad went viral on the internet like fire. A Reddit user reshared the video on the discussion platform and the social media users flooded the comment section with their witty reactions and took a dig at the actor for doing a tobacco ad despite apologising for endorsing it earlier. Reacting to the video, one of the internet users wrote, "Khud ki izzat gawa raha Akshay ..people will hate him more." While a user commented, "Didnt Akshay apologize for doing the vimal ads and said he will donate all the money he got to charity," another one wrote, "Doglapan at its peak.." Another comment can be read as, "Hypocrisy ki koi seema nahi hai." One more internet user reacted to the video and wrote, "Sharam kar re Akshay BKL ..bol raha tha sorry for hurting sentiments ab Vimal wali ad nahi karunga .. wah re wah Sethji."
On October 9, 2023, Akshay Kumar took to his X handle (previously known as Twitter) and reacted to the viral video. Mentioning that the company can run the ad till the end of their contract, the actor added that he had no connection with the brand ever since publicly announced the discontinuation. His tweet can be read as:
"Returns as ambassador? here's som fact check for you Bollywood Hungama, if by chance you are interested in things other than fake news. These ads were shot on 13th October, 2021. I have not had anything to do with the brand ever since I publicly announced the discontinuation of the endorsement. They can legally run the already shot ads till the end of next month. Chill and do some real news."
Earlier this year, Akshay faced a lot of hatred from his fans for endorsing a tobacco brand. And in April, the actor issued an apology letter and even stated that he would never endorse tobacco. His note could be read as:
"I am sorry. I would like to apologise to you, all my fans and well-wishers. Your reaction over the past few days has deeply affected me. While I have not and will not endorse tobacco, I respect the outpouring of your feelings in light of my association with Vimal Elaichi. With all humility, I step back. I have decided to contribute the entire endorsement fee towards a worthy cause. The brand might continue airing the ads till the legal duration of the contract that is binding upon me, but I promise to be extremely mindful in making my future choices. In return I shall forever continue to ask for your love and wishes."

Akshay Kumar made his acting debut with the film Saugandh in 1991. However, it was his film, Khiladi, in 1992 that garnered him with a lot of popularity.
