Following Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s extravagant three-day pre-wedding ceremony in Jamnagar, Gujarat, the Ambani family is preparing for another exclusive celebration, this time overseas. Several renowned names from various spheres of life will grace the pre-wedding festivities, set to take place from May 29 to June 1, 2024, aboard a luxury cruise from Italy to France.
On May 27, 2024, a paparazzi page shared the itinerary of the Ambanis’ second pre-wedding bash. What caught our attention was a special event titled ‘V Turns One Under The Sun’. The Ambanis will reportedly also have a special birthday party for Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s baby girl, Veda Ambani, as she will turn one on May 31, 2024. The celebrations will take place on board the luxurious cruise and the dress code for the event is ‘playful’.

For those unaware, Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta tied the knot in 2019. They embraced parenthood for the first time in December 2020 when they welcomed their son, Prithvi Akash Ambani. Moreover, Shloka surprised everyone by announcing her second pregnancy at the opening of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai. The entire Ambani clan rejoiced when Shloka gave birth to their little angel, Veda Akash Ambani, in May 2023.
On May 27, 2024, popular Bollywood celebrities, including Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, and Indian cricketer, MS Dhoni, along with his family, were spotted leaving for Italy. Meanwhile, Mukesh Ambani’s brother, Anil Ambani, was spotted at a private airport in Mumbai, reportedly jetting off to the picturesque country of Europe. The guests will reportedly embark on the four-day journey on May 28, 2024.

According to the itinerary, the celebrations will kick off on board at Palermo in Italy on May 29, 2024. The guests will enjoy a welcome lunch on the cruise followed by a ‘starry night’ party in the evening. The next day, the guests on board will disembark in Rome for a ‘Roman Holiday’, which will include a visit to different tourist spots in the eternal city. After which, they all will return to the cruise for ‘La Dolce Far Niente’, which translates to ‘doing nothing’. There’s a ‘Toga Party’ after midnight on the second day of the celebration.
On the third day, the guests will remain on board the luxurious cruise ship and celebrate Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s daughter, Veda’s first birthday party. The event will be followed by a masquerade ball in Cannes, France, and then an afterparty on the ship. On the last pre-wedding soiree, the guests will deboard in Portofino and attend the last event, ‘La Dolce Vita,’ wearing casual Italian summer outfits.
