After Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal’s grand wedding last year, the Ambanis are all set to host their Son, Akash Ambani’s wedding to Shloka Mehta. And, the wait for the big day is finally over and we cannot keep calm to see all the glam from the starry night. The B-town celebrities have started to arrive at the venue. We spotted super-star, Aamir Khan with wife Kiron Rao as they posed for the shutterbugs. Aamir looked dapper in a white kurta-pajama, while Kiron chose a fusion ensemble. Followed by Bollywood's favourite designer, Manish Malhotra and singer, Vishal Dadlani. Jackie Shroff also entered the venue showing off his style. We also got hold of pictures, wherein Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani welcomed former UK Prime Minister. Tony Blair and wife, Cherie. Akash and Shloka’s, pre-wedding celebrations was a grand 3-day affair that started in February amid the Swiss Alps. It was later followed by an interesting Harry Potter theme party in Mumbai. While we can’t wait for their lavish wedding celebrations this weekend, the family hosted the Anna Seva for underprivileged children from various NGOs at Jio World Centre. Before the Anna Seva, Nita Ambani inaugurated the Dhirubhai Ambani Square at Jio World Centre in Bandra which was attended by Mukesh Ambani and their youngest son, Anant Ambani and his rumoured girlfriend, Radhika Merchant.

During the event, Nita ji talked about the thought behind this new initiative, and had said, “The Dhirubhai Ambani Square and the Jio World Centre fulfill the vision of a great son of India, who believed that India has the potential to achieve global excellence in every area of nation-building.” She further added, “In the coming days, it will be a great treat to the eyes of all Mumbaikars who will visit this modern and futuristic square, part of the world-class, multi-purpose Jio World Centre which will be the largest and one of the best global convention centers in our country. For those who don’t know, Akash and Shloka, are childhood sweethearts, who have known each other since kindergarten and studied in the same school, Dhirubhai Ambani International school. The couple decided to walk the aisle in March last year. And they celebrated their new beginnings with their close family and friends in a private ceremony in Goa. Shloka is a daughter of Russell and Mona Mehta. The young heiress completed her undergraduate studies at Princeton University, and went on to do her masters at the London School of Economics, before coming back to India in 2014.
