The duo has been childhood sweethearts, who have known each other since kindergarten and studied in the same school, Dhirubhai Ambani International School. Akash popped the question to Shloka in March 2018. And they celebrated their new beginnings with their close family and friends in a private ceremony in Goa.

While their every wedding picture made headlines, we eagerly waited for their post-marriage pictures. And looks like, the wait is over as we got our hands on one of their first post-marriage pictures. Recently, Akash and Shloka turned gym buddies and clicked a couple of pictures with their new friends. The picture is shared by Kunal Gir, who is a lifestyle coach. He captioned the picture as, “With Shloka and Akash Ambani, I don’t know where the lines blur from work to play and from client to friend. @shloka11 @aambani1 - The warmth and love that you showed has made us feel so special at Steel! Akash’s mother, Nita Ambani’s happiness was on cloud nine at his wedding. From setting fashion goals for all the mothers to writing her heart in a beautiful poem, she had done it all! Yes, Nita ji turned poetess and wrote a heartfelt poem in ode to the new Ambani couple. The poem reads, “They went to Kindergarten to learn ABC, Not knowing — que sera sera — What their future would be…Gummy bears and jujubes, Sparkle pops and jelly beans… Sweetened their lives, From childhood through teens! Till glasses of milk made way for cups of tea… And the Sky fell in love with sweet Chants of glee! From ponytails and Barbies… From pranks and football… The years just blended… And, today they stand tall – With their eyes full of love With one single plea… Their hearts beat in rhythm Singing, “Will you marry me?” Today we bless them, and today we pray: All through their lives, on each golden day, May they always be there holding hands side by side May Gods shower their blessings on this groom and his bride!”  (Also Read: Alia Bhatt Talks About Working With BF Ranbir Kapoor In Brahmastra, Says 'His Eyes Are So Honest')

Nita Ambani

Like a doting mother who wants to show all her happiness to the world, Nita ji left no opportunity to let the world know the level of her excitement. On March 9, 2019, the Ambanis organised a post-wedding bash for Akash and Shloka’s wedding. And, as we all know, no Ambani wedding can ever be complete without the mother of the clan, Nita Ambani’s gracious dance moves on the stage and we got our hands on the viral video. Wherein, the loving mother, Nita ji can be seen dancing her heart out on a classical number, ‘Achyutam Keshawam Vishwa Damodaram’. Take a look at the video below:

On March 12, 2019, Nita Ambani and Mukesh Ambani organised a special bash, as an expression of gratitude and respect for the people who make the city and nation safe, and to seek their blessings for the newly-married couple, Akash and Shloka. They celebrated the new beginnings of their family with thousands of members of the Army, Navy, Paramilitary Forces, Mumbai Police, Railway Protection Force, and their families. The highlight of the celebrations was a special Musical Fountain show called Ananta Prem at the Dhirubhai Ambani Square which is conceptualised by Nita Ambani set on the theme of Krishna’s Raas Lila to symbolise an eternal love story. (Don't Miss: Raman Raghav 2.0' Actress, Sobhita Dhulipala And Pranav Mishra Are Match Made In Heaven?)
