From getting intimate with a fellow contestant inside the Bigg Boss house to having a long-term girlfriend outside the house, Paras has been successfully justifying his image of being a ‘sanskari playboy’. From the moment he had entered the show to till date, Paras has been making shocking revelations about his long-term ladylove, Akanksha Puri and their relationship. Initially, the duo had kept their relationship under the wraps but later their social media pictures and captions had proven that they are dating each other. Paras Chhabra is one of the most controversial celebrities in the Bigg Boss house and his shocking statement for fellow contestants and on their personal life has made him the villain of the house. He has received a lot of backlash outside the house from contestant’s family members and supporters, but the one person, who has stood for him was his girlfriend, Akanksha Puri. Akanksha has time and again clarified his statements and had made them look not negative. But inside the house, Paras has been making some shocking statements about his relationship with Akanksha and she has been left heartbroken with them. Paras had once even stated that he wanted to end the relationship but Akanksha would come to his house and would cry for hours and he would change his decision.
Recently, in an interview with the Mumbai Mirror, Akanksha revealed that Paras wanted to marry her in the year 2020 but now she is not sure of that. When asked if marriage is happening in 2020, Akanksha revealed, “Maybe (marriage in 2020). Let’s see. I’m not sure. I’m just waiting for him to come out (of the Bigg Boss house). There are a lot of things that I need to clear. If I go inside the house and talk to him about these things, he is not going to give me an exact answer as he will still be in the game. So, I’m just waiting. Let’s see where it takes us. I’m prepared for everything. We had plans. That was the last conversation Paras and I had just before he entered his vanity (van). He was keen that we shouldn’t delay anymore and that it should happen soon (after the show is over). He was very happy. But I was somebody who said that you first come out then we’ll talk about it. I think this is his time. I want him to focus on his work as he has really waited for this for a long time. Right now, these things can wait.”
In one of the episodes, Paras Chhabra was seen talking to other contestants about how he wanted to end their relationship and had also stated that Akanksha was after him, not he. Talking about the betrayal, Akanksha said, “There are few things which he has done that have really upset me about. He has lied about a few things. I know it is a part of his game, but I didn’t like it. Paras Chhabra is portraying an image of a sanskari playboy and has been flirting with other female contestants. Earlier, Akanksha had revealed that she had asked Paras to do the same as it will help him to win the show. In a recent episode, Paras was seen getting intimate with Mahira Sharma and in an interview with Pinkvilla, Akanksha had spoken about the same and had said that she is deeply hurt by what Paras is doing inside the house and had also stated that she doesn’t want to make any decision before speaking to him. She had stated, “I had asked him to flirt around and show his playboy side but did not tell him to corner a girl and kiss her and hold her hand in abandonment. I don't know what he is doing.”
Earlier, in an interview with India Forums, Akanksha Puri had revealed that Paras Chhabra getting intimate with Mahira Sharma has made her doubt their relationship of three years. She had said, “Now, even I have started doubting that he has been either playing there for three months or playing with me for three years. I guess my suggested idea is proving heavy to me. Still, I want to wait for him to come out and talk as he left on a very different note. I don’t want to jump to any conclusion.”
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Akanksha Puri had reacted to Paras Chhabra’s statement of ending their relationship and had said, “I have absolutely no clue about this. I knew he is playing his game and will be going to any extent to win his game. I was all prepared about him flirting with girls and selling his playboy image everything, but he saying all that has even surprised me. But he is a good player and is one of the strongest contestants in the show. I want to just support him. He left on a very different note, he gave me the responsibilities of his house, his mother, his accounts, his clothes in Bigg boss, everything. He told me to stay strong and support him and this is what I am doing and will do till the time he is inside the house. Rest everything will be clear once he is out and talks to me directly.
