Ever since Paras Chhabra has entered the most controversial reality show, Bigg Boss 13, he has been grabbing the limelight. The limelight is not merely because of his behaviour, linkups and fights inside the house but primarily for his personal relationship. Paras is in a committed relationship with Akanksha Puri and the two have been going strong from more than 2 years. But, ever since Paras has entered the BB house, he has been giving some shocking statements about their relationship. On the other hand, his girlfriend, Akanksha has been supporting him continuously from outside the house and hoping for his win. Paras Chhabra and Akanksha Puri are one couple, who despite being away from each other (courtesy Bigg Boss house) manages to grab the limelight for their relationship. In one of the episodes, Paras had stated that he had tried to end their relationship multiple times and was never able to do so because he didn’t want to hurt Akanksha and she would come to his place and cry. He had once fought with Sidharth Shukla and had taunted him about dating his girlfriend (Sidharth was rumoured to be dating Akanksha initially). Controversies pertaining to his comments are not taking a back seat and he recently made another shocking revelation about each other’s tattoos.
For the unversed, both Akanksha Puri and Paras Chhabra have tattooed each other’s name on their wrist as a token of love. Recently, Paras had stated in one of the episodes that she got his name inked and asked him what he will do to prove his love for her. Hence, to make her happy, he got her name inked. In an interview with Pinkvilla, Akanksha talked about the same and stated that it was a surprise for him and that he had sent her a photo while she was shooting on the sets. She added how because it was her signature, she got his name tattooed too and was surprised that he would cook up such a story in the house about it.
Paras Chhabra, have time and again, stated that he is not happy in his relationship with Akanksha Puri and wants to end it. Akanksha, during the same interview further spoke about his behaviour inside the house and also stated that it was not a forced relationship and she is financially and emotionally strong enough to not need a man in her life. She revealed further that if the relationship is over, she will be happy enough to let him go and also stated that they had a conversation before he headed inside the house that he would do anything for the game but she had never thought that he will talk about their relationship like this. During one of the fights with Sidharth Shukla, Paras Chhabra had indirectly hinted towards Sidharth and Akanksha’s relationship. During the fight, Paras had told Sidharth, "I don't understand what you up to man," to which, Sidharth had responded, "I am sure you don't 'under' 'stand'." Paras had shot back and had said, "Aha, achcha, tabhi toh tumhari wali mere paas hai." Though, later Akanksha had cleared any such speculations and stated that they were just friends and took Paras’ side by stating that he was angry and that was the reason he had stated such things. But now, Akanksha, in the recent interview with Pinkvilla, talked about Paras linking her with Sidharth.
Akanksha Puri had revealed that she and Sidharth were just friends and when she had started dating Paras, she had stopped meeting him because Paras had issues. She also went on to say that when they had broken their relationship once, it was Paras who had a relationship with an actress. Akanksha also revealed that she got back with him when he had pleaded, and families got involved. She concluded by saying that Paras is now accusing her of cheating on him and stated that Sidharth is a nice guy and it was Paras who had spoiled her friendship with Sidharth.
Earlier, in an interview with SpotboyE, Akanksha Puri had talked about her relationship status with Sidharth Shukla and had revealed that when Paras gets hyper, he just wants to win and says anything which comes to his mouth. She further added that she knows him for 3 years now. Akanksha further talked about Sidharth and said that she and Sidharth are still in touch and he is there for her. They meet now and then and whenever they meet, they spend some good time. She clarified further and said that they never took their bonding to the dating level. Akanksha revealed that Sidharth was special and will remain special for her.
During the same interview, Akanksha Puri had also talked about Paras Chhabra’s reaction over her and Sidharth Shukla’s equation. Akanksha was quoted as saying, “He hasn't questioned per se. But obviously, boyfriend ko ek possessiveness aa jaati hai when it comes to friends and even colleagues. Paras is a very possessive boyfriend, no doubt. But that's love; possessiveness inculcates when you're in a relationship.” Akanksha had also answered the question of whether Paras likes it when she bumps into Sidharth alone somewhere. She had stated that yes, unless she is with some common friends and she further stated that as now Paras and Sidharth are not friends, so there’s no question of common friends existing between them.
