Aishwarya Rai Bachchan would be playing a regal queen in the film, Ponniyin Selvan: I, and to promote the movie, the entire cast went to the most loved comedy show, The Kapil Sharma Show. However, we did not see Aishwarya Rai on the couch. Yes, you heard that right! The former Miss World skipped The Kapil Sharma Show, and netizens are guessing it is because her ex-boyfriend, Salman Khan, is the producer.
A netizen took to his Reddit account and posted a portrait of the entire cast from the show and captioned it as, “Salman is the producer of this season for Kapil Sharma show. The entire PS1 team went except Aishwarya.” After noticing Aishwarya’s absence, one user commented, “I remember she didn’t even go to KBC to promote ActionReplay with Akshay as money was going to Salman’s charity. And they came up with an excuse that family members aren’t allowed in the show.” Another fan penned, “Didn’t Aish promote Jazbaa on this show? Or was that before Bhai bought it?”

Earlier, in an interview with The Times Of India, Aishwarya Rai had opened up about her breakup with Salman Khan for the first time. She had mentioned how Salman used to abuse her physically and suspected her of having affairs with Shah Rukh Khan and Abhishek Bachchan. In her words:
“Salman and I broke up last March, but he isn't able to come to terms with it. After we broke up, he would call me and talk rubbish. He also suspected me of having affairs with my co-stars. I was linked up with everyone, from Abhishek Bachchan to Shah Rukh Khan. There were times when Salman got physical with me, luckily without leaving any marks. And I would go to work as if nothing had happened.”
