Lately, SRK has been riding high professionally, as two of his latest films, Jawan and Pathan did exceptionally well at the box office. Up next, the actor is all set to bring something new to the audience with Rajkumar Hirani’s film, Dunki. And ahead of the latter’s release, SRK was spotted paying a visit to Vaishno Devi temple to seek blessings.
For the third time in 2023, Shah Rukh Khan was spotted visiting the holy shrine of Vaishno Devi Temple in Jammu on the wee morning hours of December 12, 2023. For the unversed, the actor visited the temple twice earlier, right before the release of his respective films, Jawan and Pathan. Moreover, it seems luck has been on the side of the actor post his darshan to the temple, as the films have been massively successful at the box office. And to keep up the good luck for his next film, Dunki, Shah Rukh was back again at the temple. In the videos doing rounds, SRK, clad in a hooded jacket and face mask, can be seen arriving amidst an entourage of security personnel.

It was back in August 2023 when SRK arrived at the Vaishno Devi temple at the midnight, to seek blessings for his then-to-be-released film, Jawan. Guarded by his bodyguards and security personnel, the actor could be seen keeping a low profile while entering the temple premises. He wore a blue hoodie jacket and a black mask to cover his face.
Well, SRK has a deep spiritual connection with the shrine of Vaishno Devi Temple, since the actor often gets spotted visiting it right before some momentous occasions in his life. For instance, right before the release of his previous film, Pathan, SRK visited Vaishno Devi, ahead of his film release. Back then, as well, SRK pulled off a completely covered avatar, and people weren’t able to recognise him easily.

For the past couple of films, Shah Rukh Khan has been seen pulling off action-based films, which involve the actor performing several action-based scenes. Gone are the days when SRK would singlehandedly signify the representation of a romantic lover boy. In one of his interactions, the actor once opened up about doing such high-octane films, which require a lot of stunts and actions. In his words:
“One day my elder son and my daughter told me that I will have to do films which are cool for the youngest, Abram. I think the only cool thing he likes is all these anime and action films. I decided to be a superhero. Then I thought I did not look good in spandex. I got into bandages. That’s why this action film. Honestly, I do action films because my kids get very impressed that I have some cool things, six-pack abs. There is no other reason I should do action films.”
