Esha Deol and her hubby, Bharat Takhtani, as well know are going to join the ‘Mommy And Daddy’ club this year and so little sister, decided to surprise the parents-to-be with an adorable baby shower. Ahana hosted the surprise baby shower with their childhood friend Varun Kapoor.

Esha, who recently had a godh bharai and a second marriage, indulged in the surprise baby shower planned by her baby sister and Bharat. Yes, Bharat was also a part of the secret planning. That’s so damn sweet, right?

Now coming back to the surprise baby shower, Ahana decided to theme the baby shower around lavender colour as that happens to be mommy-to-be Esha’s favourite colour.
With the help of jiju Bharat, Ahana managed to get Esha’s measurement for the lavender gown she was to wear on the baby shower.

The vintage lavender-coloured chiffon gown with intricate floral embroidery was designed by everyone’s favourite designer, Rocky S. Daddy-to-be’s lavender suit was designed by Simply Simone.
While speaking about the surprise baby shower, the brains behind the whole show was quoted by MissMalini as:
“I wanted to do this for Esha because she threw a surprise baby shower party for me. So I decided to do the same for her. As sisters these are the fun girly moments in our life. Thanks to Bharat for sneakily getting me the measurements of Esha for the gown and managing to keep it a surprise for her.”

The baby shower held at Sunny Handa’s Z residence was beautifully decorated with lavender coloured-balloons, floral arrangements and banners. One of the main highlights of the baby shower was the delicious lavender based chocolate Belgium cake baked by Delicia.

Besides the exotic cake, what made the baby shower menu interesting was hydro-mocktails and cocktails and an array of Awadhi and Mughlai delicacies. The baby shower also had fun games like tug of war.

What set this baby shower memorable was something that the guests were asked to do. So, if a guest thought the couple was going to have a baby boy, they wear blue and if they thought it will be a baby girl, they wear pink. Sounds pretty damn cool, right?
Ahana being the perfect host that she was, she customised return gifts for her beloved guests. It included bracelet for everyone, scarves for the ladies and pocket squares for the gentleman.
