Adnan Sami is best remembered for curating the playlist of every 90s kid, with songs like, Lift Kara De, Sun Zara, Kabhi To Nazar Milaao, among others. The singer also is synonymously known for his drastic physical transformation, where he lost nearly 167 kilos of weight in 16 months. However, when it comes to his personal life, the singer has faced the polar opposite of his successes and has bore the brunt of two failed attempts at love and marriage, only to be third-time lucky!

A young Adnan at merely 22 years of age, had tied the knot for the first time with famous Pakistani actress, Zeba Bakhtiar in 1993. Interestingly, among all his other marriages, this was the only one which nearly nobody knew about, since, at that time, Adnan did not gain much popularity.
A report which came out much later also claimed that for Zeba, it was her third marriage. Nevertheless, this bit of the past never came between the couple’s years of togetherness. The lovely couple also took part in a Pakistani movie called Sargam which was established as an emblem of the couple’s love.
A year later, in 1994, Zeba and Adnan welcomed their son, Azaan. However, due to some irreconcilable issues that crept up their marital bliss, Adnan and Zeba separated in 1996. While their divorce was mutual, the ex-couple did also fight for the custody of their son. Finally, Zeba was granted sole custody of their son, but Adnan never shied away from his responsibilities. In an interview many years after their divorce, Zeba had spoken up for the first time about her failed marriage and mentioned:
"I plunged into marriage with Adnan but we had major agenda differences. He married Zeba Bakhtiar the star, and not me as a person."
In 2001, Adnan Sami took a second chance at love and got married to Dubai-based businesswoman, Sabah Galadari. It was a second marriage for the both of them, and Adnan also made it extra sure that their relationship stayed under wraps as much as possible. While everything was going smoothly between the couple for a few years, it was the sudden report of Sabah having a child from her first marriage and hiding it from Adnan that came to the surface. This bit of information was enough for the couple to call it splitsville in 2003.
However, there was still a long way to go before actually calling it quits. Even after having decided to part ways, the couple decided to reconcile one last time. This was also a very stressful time for Adnan as he was in his phase of difficult physical transformation. However, this second chance did not succeed and Sabah on charges of domestic violence, divorced from Adnan in 2009. Interestingly, during this low phase, it was Adnan’s ex-wife, Zeba who supported him.
Many years later, in an interview, Adnan recalled his tumultuous relationship with Sabah and mentioned how she was never technically his wife. In his words:
“According to Islamic marriage laws, she was technically never my wife at all. Even if she was, my religion permits me to have three wives."

Roya Faryabi entered Adnan’s life at a time when he was dealing with everything low in his life. After facing two failed marriages and a difficult weight loss transformation, he needed someone to stand beside him and be his strength. Roya, who was the daughter of a retired army general and diplomat, fell in love with Adnan and the duo dated each other for a few years.
Adnan for the first time ever, made his love life public when he brought Roya along with him on the premiere of the film, 3 Idiots. Recalling the moment when Roya entered into Adnan’s life, the latter had mentioned:
“I was going through the worst phase of my life when I met Roya. I lost my grandfather, then my father. She held my hand during my darkest hours while I was fighting the ugliest court battle with my former wife."
After all bitter experiences at love, Adnan Sami has now found settlement with his wife, Roya. The couple have found their soulmates in each other, and their union is nothing less than a reward post their tumultous past and are at peace. Moreover, the duo are also proud parents to their daughter, Medina whom they welcomed in 2017. The family of three currently resides in India, post Adnan being granted Indian citizenship in 2016. The eminent singer also has an active social media handle, where frequent glimpses of his life with the two most important women in his life, simply win hearts.
