Chef Kunal Kapur is hitting the headlines massively due to his divorce case with his estranged wife. While the Delhi High Court declared the allegations made by his estranged wife against him as 'baseless', netizens can't keep calm without making their own theories. As the court made some more judgements, which were beneficial for the husbands, the netizens curated a few other details from the chef's life. From talking about his extramarital affairs to the amount of money, Kunal allegedly provided his wife, netizens commented on almost all things.
A Reddit user shared the news of Kunal Kapur being granted the divorce from his estranged wife. However, along with it, the Reddit user talked about certain judgements made by the court in favour of the chef that, in the long run, will also benefit the husbands. The court mentioned how Kunal Kapur established himself as one of the renowned chefs in India, and his determination and hard work paved the path towards his immense success. Thus, the allegations made by his ex-wife are completely baseless. Excerpts of one of the prominent points made by the Bench:
"It is relevant to mention here that within 2 years of marriage, the appellant has established himself as a Celebrity Chef which is a reflection of his hard work and determination which would not have been possible had he been one who was dependent on his spouse or in-laws for his necessities. Considering the aforesaid facts, it is only prudent to observe that these are mere allegations made by the respondent to disrepute the appellant in the eyes of the Court and such unsubstantiated claims have the effect on one’s reputation and therefore, amounts to cruelty."

Further the court mentioned that a woman cannot be expected to work for the whole household. However, when a woman takes up the responsibilities of the house out of her free will, she does so out of sheer love for her family, and no price can be put on it. Then, citing Kunal's case, the court said that amid all this, neither spouse can blame the other for fulfilling their unreasonable monetary demands. As according to the court, such instances bring mental agony.
“It is often a natural consequence of motherhood that after the birth of a child, there is an increased sense of responsibilities which disrupts the work life balance of any woman for which husband cannot be blamed. However, in the present case, blaming the spouse for her personal failure is only perceived as a tactic to guilt the husband into fulfilling her unreasonable monetary demands, causing him great mental agony. Therefore, this Court is of the opinion that such conduct of the respondent amounts to cruelty."
Soon after the Redditor posted the bench's judgement regarding Kunal Kapoor's divorce from his estranged wife, netizens started reacting to the same. A few social media users also pointed at Kunal's alleged extramarital affair, and mentioned that the chef often goes on trips with her. However, in reply to this, another netizen, who claimed to be an insider in this case, mentioned that the girl in those pictures with Kunal is only good friends with him and nothing more.

Another section of netizens started talking about the alimony money Kunal provided his estranged wife despite having a huge salary. The social media user claimed that the chef gave her only Rs. 25,000 as alimony, whereas he earns a rumsum amount of Rs. 15 crores. Many other netizens reacted to the same.
