Yes, we are talking about Aditya S Kkapadia, who is finally married to his 10 years long girlfriend, Yeh Ishq Haaye and Miley Jab Hum Tum fame, Taanvi Thakker. Taanvi Thakker and Aditya S Kkapadia had started their forever journey on February 16, 2021, with a court wedding in Bandra. For the wedding, Taanvi had set a new trend with her unique saree as her pink organza saree’s pallu had the couple’s picture painted on it. On the other hand, Aditya had worn an off-white kurta-pyjama with Nehru jacket. Taanvi’s unique saree has become the talk of the town as it perfectly depicted the victory of their love.
After a hush-hush wedding, Aditya and Taanvi hosted a reception party for their friends and family at SoBo hotel. Their intimate celebration was attended by Surveen Chawla, who is Taanvi’s bhabhi, Vahbiz Dorabjee, Ishita Dutta, Mehak Ghaii and other celebrity friends of the couple. For the reception, while Taanvi looked gorgeous in a red floor-length anarkali suit, Aditya opted for a black sherwani. The couple posed with their friends and family in the close-knit party. In a conversation with The Times Of India, Aditya and Taanvi talked about having a small wedding and reception party. On one hand, Aditya said, “To be honest, I get intimidated by crowds and I am happy that we did not have a big wedding.” On the other hand, Taanvi echoed his words and added, “I was glad to have a small wedding and reception dinner with people who mattered the most. When I looked around, I realised that these were all people I knew and was close to. It was the perfect celebration for us.”
Right before getting married, Taanvi had blessed her fans with her haldi and mehendi rasam pictures on her IG handle, which was held on February 15, 2021. For the ceremony, Taanvi had donned a vibrant yellow coloured crop top with palazzo, whereas, Aditya had looked handsome in a yellow and off-white kurta-pyjama. Her mehendi had a quirky overview of their relationship as on one hand, we could see a bride all dressed up, whereas, on the other hand, we could see the groom dressed in casuals, busy with his laptop. In a post-wedding conversation with The Times Of India, Aditya had shared that for them getting married was a formality only as they had already married each other in their hearts. Aditya had said, "We have known each other for 10 years now, so getting married wasn't new for us. We have been married to each other in our heart and mind for many years now. I am happy that we had a small low key wedding because I am a quiet person and get intimidated by crowds. It was a beautiful and sweet experience to exchange vows."
Taanvi Thakker and Aditya S Kkapadiya had first met on the sets of Ek Doosre Se Karte Hai Pyaar Hum and had gotten engaged on December 24, 2013. Talking about their love story with India Today, Taanvi had said, "I met Aditya on the sets of Ek Doosre Se Karte Hai Pyaar Hum, around seven years back. We instantly found a connect and got engaged in a few months. We have been in a relationship for the last seven years. In September 2020, we decided to live-in and figure out if we are compatible with each other. It worked out well and we decided to finally get married."
