After Ishqbaaaz fame, Kunal Jaisingh surprised us with his hush-hush engagement on the occasion of Gudi Padwa, his co-star Additi Gupta also announced her intimate engagement with her beau just a day before Janmashtami. There are some celebrities who manage to keep their relationship under wraps until a formal engagement or wedding announcement and Additi is one such actress. The Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil actress got engaged to her boyfriend, Kabir Chopra, and she announced it through her social media handle. Sharing a romantic picture from the ceremony, she captioned it with a heart emoji. And in her Insta story, she shared a snap holding hands of her fiancé and wrote, "I said no... Just kidding. *He is mine*".
As soon as she shared the good news on her social media, the congratulatory messages started pouring in. Ekta Kapoor commented, "Congo @additigupta @kabirchopra4545", Karan Patel wrote on his Insta story, "Lots of love and luck guys, Guddu Ki Guddi. Congratulations to two clean hearted ppl #StayHappyForever", Anita Hassanandani wrote, “Yaaay! I sensed it long long long longgggggg ago”, Shweta Tiwari replied, “Perfecto!!! Earlier, talking about being single, Additi was quoted as saying to The Times Of India, "I don't feel I should plan about my marriage so early. But yes my parents wish to see me settled. My relatives, people around and neighbours keep asking my parents about my marriage plans. Such questions are sometimes funny, irritating and also make you blush (laughs). I'm happy being single after the breakup. As of now I'm not dating anyone but enjoying being single." Additi was also rumoured to be dating an investment banker, Rizwan Bachav, but the duo broke up ending their relationship of two long years. As per Tellychakkar reports, a source had stated, “Additi and Rizwan have known each other for more than five years now. Rizwan, who has been friends with Ekta Kapoor, found the love of his life in Ekta’s find, Additi. With passing of time, their bond grew stronger and they realized that they are made for each other. But now, all seems to be over, as they have parted ways.”
After her break up with Rizwan, Additi found love in her Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil co-star, Laksh Lalwani. According to a source, “Additi and Laksh have a strong bond, which is very much visible. They are always spotted together on the set, and prefer to spend quality time with each other.” When Laksh was contacted to comment on the same, he shared, “I find it really funny when I get linked with girls. Earlier it was Rashami leaving home for me. And now, it is Additi leaving Rizwan for me. I do not connect with it.
