The nation woke up to the saddening news of the demise of the noted actor and award-winning screenwriter, Shiv Subramaniam. The late actor was popular for his outstanding performances in Hindi films like 2 States, Meenakshi Sundareshwar, Kaminey, Teen Patti and many others. During his illustrious career, he was awarded the Filmfare Award for his films, Parinda and Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi. His loss has taken away a precious gem from the Indian film industry.
Filmmaker, Shiv Kumar Subramaniam passed away on the late night of April 10, 2022, in Mumbai. Several celebrities are mourning his loss and posting condolence messages for his family members. Indeed, the demise of Shiv Subramaniam is disheartening, and his loss is irreplaceable.

While the cause of Shiv Subramaniam's demise is unknown yet, it was filmmaker, Hansal Mehta, who shared a statement on his social media handle announcing Shiv Subramaniam's departure. The statement revealed the noted actor's funeral details and it will be held today morning in Mumbai. Hansal Mehta's statement can be read as:
"With profound and heartfelt grief, we wish to inform you of the passing of one of the most dignified and noble souls to inhabit human form - our dearest Shiv Subrahmanyam. Incredibly talented, he was much loved and revered personally as well as professionally."
On the other hand, journalist, Beena Sarwar paid tribute to Shiv Kumar Subramaniam on her social media handle. In her tweet, she revealed that Shiv's son, Jahaan had died just two months ago due to a brain tumour. Her tweet can be read as:
“Incredibly tragic, especially considering this happened just two months after the death of him and Divya’s only son, Jahaan, who was struck down by a brain tumor two weeks before his 16th birthday."
People from the film fraternity are paying their respect and tribute to the late actor, and his fans are disheartened by this tragic news. The last rites of Shiv Kumar Subramaniam will be performed on April 11, 2022, at 11 am at Mokshadham Hindu Crematorium.
