On April 9, 2022, Jaya Bachchan turned a year older, and a few moments back, her doting son, Abhishek Bachchan wished her through a special post. Abhishek took to his Instagram handle, shared a gorgeous monochrome picture of his mother from the yesteryear and penned a loving note wishing her. In the photo, Jaya looked young and stunning as she had donned a saree and had completed her look with a soft double-winged liner, a bindi and a flower pinned on her hair. The caption can be read as:

On September 25, 2021, when Jaya Bachchan had completed 50 years in the Hindi film industry. Abhishek Bachchan had shared a picture to laud her with praises. Abhishek Bachchan had taken to his IG handle and had dropped some throwback shots from her movies. He had penned a loving note for his mommy to make her day even more special. He had written:

For those who don't know, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan had a beautiful love story. They had met on the shooting floors of their films, and gradually, love had bloomed between them. Then, on June 3, 1973, the couple had tied the knot with each other. They had embraced parenthood for the first time with the arrival of their daughter, Shweta in 1974. The couple had welcomed parenthood for the second time after their son, Abhishek was born in 1976.
