From his absence with his wife and their daughter, Aaradhya at the NMACC event to Aishwarya's alleged behaviour with him and his niece, Navya Naveli Nanda at a recent match have raised speculations about the same. Now, dismissing all such rumours, Abhishek shared a mesmerising picture with his wife.
On April 20, 2023, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan completed 16 years of marital bliss. Thus, to mark the beautiful event, the actor shared a mushy selfie with his darling wife, Aishwarya Rai. In the picture, the duo was seen cosily hugging each other while twinning in white ensembles. A few moments back on April 20, 2023, the entire Bachchan family was also spotted arriving in a car at Yash Chopra's residence for the last rites of Pamela. In a video, while Abhishek Bachchan was seen sitting in the front seat, his wife, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and father, Amitabh Bachchan was seen together in the back seat.

On April 1, 2023, Aishwarya Bachchan had graced the second day of the NMACC event along with her daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan. Unfortunately, this was quite dissimilar to the regular time, when Abhishek wasn't seen with them. Thus, a report in POPxo speculated about the couple’s separation. However, Abhishek's reaction to a photo of Aishwarya and Aaradhya spoke otherwise. Post the NMACC event, a fan had taken to her Twitter handle and shared a gorgeous picture of Aishwarya and Aaradhya, had written, “My fav people” and tagged Abhishek. As per the rumours and multiple reports, gossipmongers had claimed that Aishwarya has been living separately with Aaradhya due to some unknown issues with her in-laws, especially her mother-in-law, Jaya Bachchan and sister-in-law, Shweta Bachchan. This was the reason which created a difference between Aishwarya and Abhishek, and she started living separately with her daughter. In addition, due to all of this, Abhishek didn't appear at the NMACC event along with Aishwarya and Aaradhya.
