Bollywood actor, Abhay Deol had made his way into our hearts through his debut movie, Socha Na Tha. The actor has proved his mettle in acting and had hit our hearts hard with the cult movie, Dev D. Though Abhay has faced a lot of ups and downs in his professional life, his personal life is no less. The actor is known to maintain his calm and does not talk much about his personal life. If reports are to be believed, Abhay is dating a celebrity manager cum artist, Saireena Mamik.
Abhay Deol owns a luxurious house in Goa, which is situated amidst a haven of greenery. In the second episode of the YouTube show, Where The Heart Is, the actor gave a glimpse inside his home. Abhay's glasshouse is built in the middle of a jungle in the lap of nature. His lavish house is spread over a huge area and features minimal decor. It allows the actor to enjoy a peaceful getaway by shutting out the hustle and bustle of the busy city.

Abhay Deol likes to describe his carefully crafted Goa home as 'a glass house in the middle of the forest’. His lavish glasshouse features huge glass doors, a swimming pool and a sprawling lawn. The lavish property is surrounded by lush greenery both inside and outside the house. In the video, Abhay shared that he wanted to bring the environment into the house. He said:
“It’s a plot in the middle of the forest. And I really wanted to basically bring the environment into the house. So it is essentially a glass house in a forest."
Abhay's house is characterised by its simplicity and clean lines, and it features high ceilings and glass windows that ensure that the actor always feels close to nature. The actor has opted for minimal decor and some iconic furniture to spruce up his house. Simple decor elements, which include earthy planters and some beautiful paintings, cater to the less-is-more feel of the house. Dark granite flooring and wooden elements add to the rustic feel of the house, in sync with nature.

In one of the segments of the video, Abhay gives us a sneak peek into his living area, which is a huge space with high ceilings and glass windows for walls. His large living room provides a beautiful view of his front garden and the forest behind it. It is the space where the actor hosts his guests. The glass doors of the room slide away to the sides, which acts as the main pathway for the guests to step into the sprawling lawn.
In the next segment, Abhay took us inside his kitchen and shared that he enjoys cooking for his friends. His kitchen opens up into an outdoor area, which has a small sitting arrangement. His house also has a minimalistic swimming pool, and the area surrounding it is a quaint space with sunbeds and has greenery all around.

Abhay revealed that he had fallen in love with the property the minute he saw it and added that his search had ended right there. He also shared that his brief to his architects was to restrict the use of windows as he wanted only glass sliding doors, to have a feeling of being surrounded by nature. He said:
“So my brief to my architect was I don’t want any windows. I want opening doors, of glass, and ceiling so high that if I’m standing and looking at a person, I can’t even see the ceiling. That’s how high I want it."
On the work front, Abhay was last seen in the film, Velle.
