It was a celebration for both the families as Arpita Khan Sharma and Aayush Sharma had become parents for the second time on December 27, 2019, with the arrival of the daughter, Ayat Sharma. It was in September 2019, when Aayush had confirmed the news of Arpita Khan’s second pregnancy on IIFA’s red carpet. Since the arrival of Ayat, their family picture had gotten complete and the doting parents are cherishing each and every moment with their little munchkins.
Amidst COVID-19, every celeb is spending quality time at home and is making sure to cherish every moment spent with their loved ones. Aayush Sharma is also making sure not to miss the precious moments with his daughter, Ayat. On April 6, 2020, Aayush took to his Instagram handle and shared an adorable video of Ayat, making some funny faces and showing her grumpy smile. Aayush captioned the video as “Quarantine Drill No. 1 Make this grumpy Smile.”
On March 30, 2020, Aayush and Arpita’s firstborn, Ahil Sharma had turned four and had celebrated his birthday with his sister, Ayat, and mamu, Salman Khan. As Ahil turned 4, his doting daddy, Aayush Sharma had posted a heartfelt wish for his little one. Sharing some unseen pictures of the birthday boy, Aayush had written, “It’s been 4 years since you’ve come into our lives and since then you’ve only made us smile and bring happiness into our lives. I haven’t taught you a lot but you taught me the meaning of selfless love. Aayush Sharma, who keeps busy with his shooting schedule is making up for some quality time with his family. On March 20, 2020, Aayush had taken to his Instagram handle and had shared adorable pictures with his two little munchkins, Ahil and Ayat. Along with the pictures, he had written, “Stay at home... spend time with your family and create beautiful memories Make the most out of this quarantine & stay safe.”
Arpita had chosen her brother, Salman Khan’s birthday, i.e., December 27, 2019, to welcome her little bundle of joy as it was her birthday gift for her brother. In an interaction with the Hindustan Times, Aayush had shared that Ayat was a gift to Salman. He had said, "The due date was last week of December or first week of January. When we told this to everyone, Bhai (as Salman is lovingly called) was excited and said ‘give me a gift’. So, it was a conscious decision to bring Ayat into this world on that day. It is a very good omen to have her on Bhai’s birthday... Also, it saves me from giving multiple parties! Arpita has a habit of throwing lavish parties, so I was anyway thinking how much I’ve got to earn to celebrate hers, mine, Ahil’s (three-year-old son) and Ayat’s birthdays. Now, we all can go to the farmhouse, where on one side, we can celebrate Bhai’s birthday and the other side can be booked for the kid’s party."
