Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare’s wedding reception is being hosted today at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in Mumbai, and the internet is brimming with starlit glimpses from the same. From eminent Bollywood celebrities, pollical biggies and extended family members, nearly everyone was spotted at the gala event. However, it was Aamir Khan’s second ex-wife, Kiran Rao’s absence that raised many eyebrows.
Among all the near and dear ones of Ira Khan marking their presence at Ira Khan’s wedding reception bash, it was her step-mom, Kiran Rao’s absence from the same that raised many eyebrows. While her son, Azaad was present to mark his presence at his sister’s big day, his mom was nowhere to be seen. However, it was the man of the hour, Aamir Khan who explained to everyone the reason behind Kiran’s absence. In a video doing rounds wherein the actor posed with several of his nieces and nephews, Aamir talked about Kiran’s absence to the paparazzi and revealed she was suffering from viral fever. He can be quoted as:
“Kiran ji ki tabiyat theek nahi hai aaj.”

In several other glimpses from the reception bash, it was the heartfelt moment between Aamir and his two sons, Azaad and Junaid that has been doing rounds. The doting daddy posed with his boys, and the picture was worth a million dollar. While Aamir wore a black sherwani with white pyjamas, Junaid wore a navy blue sherwani with white pyjamas. Azaad, on the other hand, looked smart in a blue formal suit.
Ex-couple and doting parents, Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta are enjoying the happiest moments of their lives, as their baby girl, Ira has all grown up and has stepped onto the next chapter of her life with the man of her dreams, Nupur Shikhare. At their reception bash, Aamir struck a pose with Reena, along with the duo’s samdhan and Nupur’s mother, Pritam Shikhare. While Reena looked glamorous in a maroon-toned saree, Pritam on the other hand wore a pink-hued silk saree.

Speaking about the couple of the moment, Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare turned several heads with their gorgeous appearance on their reception bash. The newlywed bride opted for a beautiful red lehenga, featuring heavy golden zari work all over it. She accentuated her outfit with a halter-neck choli and red dupatta. Subtle makeup, included a bright red lip-shade, soft eye makeup and loose curly tresses completed her look. On the other hand, Nupur, looked dapper in a black bandhgala with a red pocket square and dhoti pants.
