Instead, she has established herself as an entrepreneur, who has been actively working to promote mental health awareness and busting the common myths. She is also the founder of the NGO, Agastu Foundation, that has been working dedicatedly in the same field. Apart from her professional feat, Ira is also riding high on her personal front. For the unversed, the diva got engaged to her longtime beau, Nupur Shikhare in November 2022. And now, we stumbled upon a glimpse of Ira and Nupur’s wedding invite.
While scrolling through our social media feed, we stumbled upon a glimpse of Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare’s wedding invite, that has gone viral on the internet. Though it is not sure whether the card is evidently the official invite or not. The invitation card is set in a black and gold theme, with the initials of Ira and Nupur used to make a simple yet sophisticated logo at the top. The date of their nuptials has been set for January 13, 2024. The message on the card read as:
“It gives us great pleasure to invite you to celebrate the marriage of our children Ira & Nupur. Please join us to bless the couple. 13th January Saturday. Love Pritam, Reena and Aamir. Blessings only.”

Back on December 7, 2023, Ira Khan dropped an adorable video on her IG stories, that featured compiled videos of her friends, who received the wedding invites of the former. However, the interesting part of it was that the invitations were like a puzzle and were customised to each of Ira’s bridesmaids. They were required to properly solve them for the date reveal of the wedding. Along with it, the bride-to-be, Ira, penned a note that read as:
“Popeye: Edit it bit by bit. Me: Does it in one night? This has been on the to-do since April. Better late than never. I love you guys so much. Do you see the variety and range of the people in my life? Don’t miss the contrast between Zayn and Danielle’s reaction to puzzles, Danielle’s montage of "Iit’s so cute!", the contrast between Kshitej and everyone else’s reactions, the following and not following of instructions (clearly they were not clear enough), all the various cameramen and their running commentary."
Back on November 3, 2023, Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare's wedding festivities began with the pre-wedding ceremony called the kelvan. For the unversed, it is an important ritual in Maharashtrian culture, wherein the bride and groom's family get together and shower blessings on the soon-to-be-married couple. For her special day, Ira dolled up in traditional Marathi attire and looked cute with Nupur.

In a previous interaction with India Today, Ira Khan opened up about her personal life. Ira revealed that initially, she didn't want to date Nupur as a a lot of things were going through her head at that time. Elaborating more, she said:
"Initially, I was like 'we should not date because I don't want to get into a relationship with you, because I don't know what is going on in my head, who's if you want to deal with it or not.' And I went back and forth about that thought for so long. Later, I realized he was an adult. Why don't I ask him? So, I asked him, I was like 'listen, all these thoughts are going on in my head.' And that's how we started dating."
