Aamir Khan's daughter, Ira Khan is living the most beautiful phase of her life. The star daughter has been on cloud nine ever since she got engaged to her long-time boyfriend, Nupur Shikhare. For the unversed, the much-in-love couple exchanged rings on November 18, 2022, in an intimate ceremony. Moreover, Ira is quite popular on social media and she often shares glimpses of her personal life. And now, in a recent interview, the bride-to-be revealed her wedding date.
In an interview with ETimes, Aamir Khan's daughter, Ira Khan opened up about her wedding with her fiance, Nupur Sikhare. Talking about the same, the soon-to-be bride revealed when she will tie the knot with the man of her dreams. Ira stated that they have finalised a date, but the year is still not decided. Mentioning the reason behind choosing the particular date, Ira said:
"We know that we want to get married on January 3, but which year... we haven’t decided on that. January 3 is very special for us as that’s the date when we first kissed."

On June 3, 2023, Ira had taken to her Instagram handle and dropped a series of pictures taken in the month of May 2023. The pictures featured some candid moments of the star daughter with her beau, Nupur, her step-mother, Kiran Rao and her friend, Fatima Shaikh. However, it was the picture of Ira preparing her wedding cards that caught our attention. In the picture, she was seen sitting on the floor and writing names on what looked like her wedding card. Along with the pictures, Ira had written:
"May dump. I want less heat. And more mangoes."
For the unversed, it was on November 18, 2022, when Ira Khan got engaged to her boyfriend, Nupur Shikhare. Their engagement was nothing less than a fairytale. For the engagement bash, Ira opted for a strapless red-coloured gown. She completed her look with a statement necklace, a pair of earrings, dewy makeup and a bun hairdo. On the other hand, Nupur looked dapper in a black tuxedo.

On November 22, 2022, Ira Khan had posted a dreamy picture from her engagement ceremony. However, it was her insightful caption that caught our attention. In the caption, she revealed why her engagement was not a star-studded affair. Mentioning the same, Ira invited only a handful of people because that is what makes her parties the best ones. In her words:
"This moment. Multiple people on multiple occasions have told me that I throw really good parties. I think they give me a little too much credit. The main difference between my parties and other people parties is the guest list. The people in our lives are what make it happy and fun and quirky and so very, very wholesome."
