Aamir Khan is on cloud nine as his daughter, Ira Khan got married to the man of her dreams, Nupur Shikhare, in a white wedding on January 10, 2024. The duo took their holy wedding vows in the city of lakes and hopped onto the forever journey by sealing the deal with a kiss. In several videos that made rounds in the media, we have seen Aamir being extremely emotional and wiping off his happy tears as soon as Ira and Nupur tied the knot. And now, in a video, the Dangal actor talked about his emotions after his daughter got married.
In a video, which was dropped by Spice Social, Aamir Khan can be seen talking about his emotions after watching Ira Khan tying the knot. In the video, Aamir looked dapper in a blue-hued pantsuit. Moreover, when asked about his emotions, the actor said that his emotions had been like the musical instrument, shehnai.

For the unversed, shehnai, a kind of flute, is a South Asian musical instrument, which is mainly played at weddings. However, back to Aamir's interview, while justifying why he felt like his emotion was like that instrument, he said that shehnai gives a mixture of happy and sad tones, which is similar to what he was feeling when his daughter got married. Aamir said:
"My emotion was like a shehnai. It’s an instrument played in shaadis. Shehnai mein ek quality hoti hain ki who apko thodi si khushi bhi deti hain aur thodi si udasi bhi deti hain. Combo, uska ek mishran hota hain emotions ka shehnai mein. So that’s my emotions."

As per multiple reports, the party will be graced by Bollywood biggies, from Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan to the Bachchans. On the other hand, Amabnis are also expected to join Ira and Nupur's reception party. For those who chipped in late, Ira and Nupur had a registered wedding in Mumbai on January 3, 2024, and it was graced by Mukesh Ambani, Nita Ambani and their son, Akash Amabi and daughter-in-law, Shloka Mehta.
