Aamir Khan's daughter, Ira Khan got married to the love of her life, Nupur Shikhare in a registered marriage on January 3, 2024. Several glimpses from the event are doing rounds on the internet, which are simply unmissable. Aamir turned out to be the perfect host for all the guests at his daughter's big day and was seen attending to each one of them personally.
In one of the videos doing rounds on the internet, Aamir Khan was seen posing with the newly married couple, Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare, and his ex-wives, Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao. The family was happily posing for the lens on the red carpet at the wedding ceremony. Initially, Aamir was seen standing beside Reena, but later they rearranged themselves for the cameras. Then, the actor was seen planting a kiss on Kiran Rao’s cheek as they posed for the cameras at Ira Khan’s wedding.

For their wedding, Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare wore a simple yet graceful look. The bride was seen donning a golden-hued dhoti teamed with a black embroidered blouse and a captivating dupatta. Leaving her hair open, she accentuated her look with a maang teeka, a heavy necklace, and matching earrings. To complement her simplistic ensemble, Ira wore a black watch and black footwear and looked truly mesmerising. On the other hand, her groom, Nupur looked dapper in a blue sherwani paired with brown footwear.
Aamir Khan got married to Reena Dutta on April 1, 1986, in a private wedding ceremony. After some years of their happy married life, it was in 1993 when the couple embraced parenthood for the first time after the birth of their son, Junaid Khan. Later, in 1997, Aamir and Reena's family got complete when they welcomed their second child, a baby girl, whom they named Ira Khan.

However, Aamir Khan and his first wife, Reena Dutta went separate ways after 16 years of married life and were granted divorce in 2002. After his divorce from Reena, Aamir found love in director-producer, Kiran Rao, and they tied the knot in December 2005. Aamir and Kiran embraced parenthood with the arrival of their son, Azad Rao Khan via IVF. However, in 2021, Aamir and Kiran announced their divorce, ending 15-and-a-half years of marriage. The duo still share a cordial bond with each other, which is praiseworthy.
