After two failed marriages, when Aamir found love in the arms of Gauri, people were excited for the actor’s third marriage. But the Ghajini actor revealed he would never get married for the third time.
Aamir Khan revealed he would never get married for the third time
Aamir Khan introduced Gauri to the media in 2025 and the duo has often been spotted together. During a press conference, Aamir Khan spoke about his relationship with Gauri and revealed that the duo is fully committed to each other. But the actor, who has been married twice previously, clearly stated that he was in no mood for a third marriage and stated:
“Well, Gauri and I are really serious about each other and we are in a very committed space. And I have been married twice. Par ab 60 saal ki umar mein shaadi shayad mujhe shobha nahi degi. I am very fortunate to have such great relationships with my ex-wives."
Aamir Khan’s previous marriages and divorces
Aamir got married twice, first in 1986, to Reena Dutta when he was just 21. The former couple has two children, Junaid and Ira, but unfortunately. After 16 years of their marriage, the duo called it quits in 2002. Aamir then married Kiran Rao in 2005 and welcomed their son, Azad via through surrogacy in 2011. The actor’s second marriage could not last long, and the two got divorced in 2021. But despite his divorce from Reena and Kiran, Aamir shares a cordial bond with them.

When Aamir introduced Gauri to the media, revealed that she is not a Bollywood buff and has not seen many of his films. When asked how he fell in love with Gauri, Aamir replied that the two crossed paths 25 years back but lost touch. It was years later that the two reconnected with each other.
Mother of a six-year-old, Gauri loved Aamir’s caring attitude towards her, and she couldn’t stop herself from falling for him. Revealing what she liked in Aamir, Gauri stated, “I wanted someone who was kind, a gentleman, and just caring.” Gauri is not into the Bollywood madness and has not seen much of Aamir’s work. In the same media interaction, Aamir shared that Gauri had different exposure to cinema and doesn’t see him as a superstar but as a partner.

Hailing from Bangalore, Gauri is the daughter of Rita Spratt, who owned a salon in the city. According to Gauri's LinkedIn profile, she has been a partner and director with B Blunt since 2007. She had completed her schooling at Blue Mountain School. She graduated with a degree in FDA Styling and Photography from the University Of Arts London.
Aamir Khan is now all set to tie the knot with Gauri Spratt on July 5, 2026, in a registered ceremony at his Mumbai home. The wedding will be a close-knit affair with only their close friends and family in attendance. As per multiple reports, the wedding menu has been planned entirely by the couple’s children, adding a personal touch to the celebrations.
