Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are indeed one of the most loved couples in Bollywood. For the unversed, they started seeing each other in 2012 during their film, Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela. Afterwards, Ranveer proposed to Deepika in 2015, in a dreamy way amidst the sea. Finally, they tied the knot in 2018 at a destination wedding in Italy, and since then, they have been living the best lives together. However, after almost 5 years, when they appeared on the first episode of the reality show, Koffee With Karan 8, they revealed various unknown anecdotes about their relationship.
During the course of the conversation on their appearance on Koffee With Karan, Ranveer Singh beautifully narrated his proposal story with Deepika Padukone. He mentioned how he wanted to arrange everything picture-perfect and please Deepika so that she could not refuse his proposal. Thus, narrating the proposal moment, Ranveer said:
"So we go to the Maldives and I'm secretly carrying the ring with me as we do the sand bank adventure. So a boat takes us out, to the middle of the sea and there's just one tiny slimmer of sand in the middle and all around is just is nothing, its just sea. I was like this is it, this is the perfect scenario mtlb I was also in a way kind of, I admit it that I kind of fasaoed her. I said I am gonna make this proposal wala scene so picture-perfect that she won't be able to say no, rather compelled to say yes. You know, feel like just so right. So they dropped us off, I popped the question, gave her the ring, she didn't expect it, she got emotional and that was it, she said Yes and I felt like the king of the world."

Getting inspired by the Bollywood duo, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's proposal moment, a real life-couple also did something similar. We stumbled upon a stunning video from the couple's beach proposal moment, and this was simply mesmerising. The video began with the couple, Mahi and Jay boarding a helicopter as they jetted off to the beautiful location of Maldives.
The next moment, Mahi and Jay were seen decked up all in white as they went on to ride a boat. While Jay looked dapper in a white pant-suit, Mahi opted for an off-shoulder gown that featured full sleeves. She teamed her look with a sleek diamond neckpiece paired with matching earrings and a big bow-styled hair ornament. Subtle makeup, including glossy lips, blushed cheeks, defined eyebrows, and a messy hairstyle, completed her overall look for the day.

Finally, as they reached the location, Jay opened her eyes, kneeled down and popped the million-dollar question to his ladylove, Mahi. He gave her a beautiful ring, and she was absolutely mesmerised by Jay's efforts and all the arrangements he made for her. Thus, she became emotional and hugged him tight after saying yes. Afterwards, they also danced a bit, and the video capturing their moment was simply picture-perfect. She shared the video in collaboration with a caption that read, "A proposal in Ranveer Singh's style".
