When you have a low self-esteem, you are a vulnerable soul. Anyone and everyone can influence you and in most cases even dictate you. You are always the soft target in your relationship and are held responsible for whatever went wrong always. To top it off, your disability to speak up for yourself makes you the loser every time.
When you do not speak up for yourself, how is your partner supposed to know what you want out of the relationship. Many a times, the other person takes advantage of this fact and dictates rules and wishes that suit him and never you. You are partly at fault here too as you allow that to happen. Not getting what you want, not saying it out loud and clear will always leave you with unfulfilled expectations that will further create misunderstandings.
A low self-confidence makes you an unattractive woman. There is nothing appealing or sexy about you. Instead you come across as being a desperate and needy soul. Being confident about who you are on the other hand, makes all eyes turn towards you. You seem brighter, cheerful and your partner falls in love with you over and over again!
Low self-esteem equals low confidence. When you are unable to be assertive and open about yourself, you come across as being under-confident. And believe us, there is absolutely nothing appealing about a person who lacks confidence. Your guy will soon lose interest in you, men will not be attracted towards you and even if they do, you will always attract a dominating type!
Having no self-esteem is another way of becoming self-destructive. When you are not proud of who you are, you always tend to curse your being. You are under confident and always prefer to be backstage. This makes you lose touch of your true self, the real you! How is your partner supposed to like you when you hate your own self?
When you do not have the guts to speak up, you will always come across as being timid, weak and scared. You fail to show trust in anyone or anything, and are constantly worrying that something negative is yet to happen. How do you expect your guy to trust you, if you can’t show a little faith in him yourself?
Being low on self-esteem keeps you mostly behind closed doors. Your life becomes dull and boring and your lack of interest in doing anything fun forces your guy to lose interest in you. There is too much drama in your relationship and you constantly set limits on everything in your life. Doing so makes your partner go away from you over a short period of time.
