For the unversed, Anne, who is already a mom to two sons, Jonathan, 10, and Jack, 6, is expecting her third baby with her husband, Adam Shulman. During a recent interview, Anne got emotional as she received an Odyssey-inspired gift for her baby on the way.

43-year-old pregnant Anne Hathaway and her co-star Tom Holland joined the TODAY Show on July 16, 2026, to talk about their film, The Odyssey. In the film, Tom plays Anne and Matt Damon’s son, 'Telemachus.'
For the uninitiated, Anne is playing the role of 'Penelope' and is seen opposite Matt, who is playing the lead character, 'Odysseus.' At the end of the conversation on TODAY Show, Anne received a special Odyssey-inspired baby gift, complete with a hand-knit Trojan outfit. Receiving the personalised gift for her baby on the way, Anne couldn’t hold back tears. She said:
"This is so cute. Who is talented enough to make all of this? This is appropriately epic. Thank you so much. This is amazing."

Anne Hathaway surprised her fans by announcing that she is expecting her third baby on June 19, 2026. Wearing a beautiful white dress, The Odyssey actress walked into the frame with her arms in front of her stomach. She smiled and cradled her baby bump and then ran out of frame. She captioned her post, "x Baby, I’m yours x." Later that month, a source told People that Anne is currently focusing on her family. Explaining how Anne has been balancing pregnancy and work commitments, the insider said:
"She’s grateful for where she is in her career and for the opportunity to be part of a film that means so much to so many people. Complaining just isn’t Anne. She approaches things with gratitude and professionalism, and that’s exactly how she handled the press tour. Right now, she’s focused on family and enjoying a little downtime."
During a recent appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Anne shared how amazing her pregnancy has been so far. The Devil Wears Prada 2 actress revealed that she was a bit shocked to find out that she was pregnant for the third time.
Sharing her feelings, Anne said, "Oh, my gosh. It’s amazing. It’s amazing. I mean, we knew what we were doing, but we were so shocked it worked. We were so shocked it went this way, so we’re calling this one our buzzer-beater." In another interview with People, Anne opened up about her character, 'Penelope', and drew parallels with real life. She said:
"I'm a little bit of a mama bear; nothing comes between me and my cubs. And I definitely think, given everything all that Penelope was going through, given how high the stakes were, given how targeted her son in particular was without his father there, she knew that she had to be protective in more than one way."
Earlier, in April 2026, Anne sat for an interview with People and opened up about her motherhood journey. She described the journey as a beautiful ongoing poem. She said, "I just feel very lucky. I know that not everybody who wants to be a parent gets to be. I’m just blown away by how fortunate I am. It went really well for me twice, and that’s really lucky. I couldn't imagine identifying a single most. Being a mom is just this beautiful ongoing poem that I get to live inside of."
