Brittany Clark was a 31-year-old hiker who died after she was attacked by an alligator while stopping for a swim with her boyfriend, Chance Allison and roommate, Jayden Hernandez. The weekend trip turned deadly for Brittany, who was swimming in the Florida river. As per reports, a 12-foot alligator attacked Brittany in the water and clenched its jaw onto her as she was just three feet deep in the water. Now, in a statement, the victim's boyfriend has reflected on her death, calling it a 'nightmare'.

The 31-year-old hiker was enjoying her summer weekend with her boyfriend, Chance Allison and roommate and friend, Jayden Hernandez. However, little did Brittany Clark know that her routine entertainment activity would end up claiming her life. The incident happened during a hike, when the trio decided to stop for a swim in the Econlockhatchee River in Florida. They were enjoying the cold water on the summer day when an alligator suddenly attacked Clark, claiming her life, despite Chance's best attempt to save her.

Now, in a statement to NBC, Brittany Clark's boyfriend has reacted to her passing, remembering her as someone full of life. Chance Allison revealed that Brittany was no stranger to water and would love to spend her free time out in it. She was in love with her job as a dirt crew and was the strongest person he had ever crossed paths with. He admitted that he had not in a million years imagined that something like this would happen. He was quoted as saying:

"She was the strongest and most outgoing person I've ever met in my 30 years of life. She loved her job where she operated a bulldozer, running a dirt crew, and loved going out on the water every chance she could. Never in a million years would we have seen this nightmare come about."

It was not long ago when Brittany Clark's brother and father also responded to her death. They recalled the tragedy and shared how they are grieving the sudden loss. Brittany's father, Robert, shared how he had just lost his mother days before his daughter's passing, making the incident even more painful for them as a family. Her brother, Nate, also mirrored their father's pain, sharing how "amazing" Brittany was and how he is in "shambles" after her death.

Brittany Clark was just three feet deep in the water when an alligator attacked her and ripped off one of her arms. She was with her boyfriend, Chance Allison, who did his best to fight off the beast. Without worrying about his own life, he bravely helped his girlfriend get free of the alligator. However, it clamped onto Brittany's other arm. According to reports, he was screaming that both of his girlfriend's arms had been severed.

One of the witnesses revealed that Brittany was in horrible condition, as one of her arms was completely off and the other was barely attached to her. Another man called 911 and told the authorities that Brittany lost a lot of blood. The authorities revealed: 

"They were hiking and they just stopped to swim. She was bitten on both of her arms. The boyfriend was the one that made the phone call. He was trying to get her from the alligator’s mouth, and on the way to the hospital she did pass away from her injuries."
