Alabama Barker grilled Travis Barker with questions on his parenting method
In a TikTok video featuring Alabama Barker's dad, Travis Barker, she tried to determine how "chill" he really is. The 20-year-old asked him if he considers himself a strict parent, to which he promptly responded, "No." Alabama then tried to push him a little more by asking what he would do if he found out that she had snuck out of the house. Travis had his answer ready; he responded:
"I would tell you how dangerous it is and maybe try to put you on restriction."
From the father-daughter chat, it was clear that Travis, usually a cool and liberal parent, was strict about Alabama's boyfriends. He is protective of her and is a bit stricter about who she dates and how far she goes with the guy. After stating that he would put her on restriction if she tried to run away with her lover, he couldn't keep a straight face and ended up laughing. But Alabama confirmed that the "restriction" part was accurate, as it was Travis' thing. She stated:
"I'm not even kidding you, restriction was his thing. Okay? Ok."
We learned more about Travis' parent when he revealed what he would do if his daughter was "out with a boy" and completely stopped responding to his phone calls. He said that he would find out her location and go there immediately. The musician further shared that he was okay with Alabama having a boy come over at home as long as she "doesn't lock herself in her room with him."
Another absolute no-no for Travis was Alabama driving alone to a boy's house at night. Answering his daughter's inquisition as to what he would do if she came home with her friends high or drunk, Travis said he would tell her to never do it again.
Alabama Barker opened up about the buzz around her cosmetic surgery
Alabama Barker has openly talked about the criticism she has faced over the years. There have been rumours that the influencer has opted for surgeries to achieve her desired look. Dismissing the buzz, Alabama, in one of her posts, revealed that people need to understand and accept the fact that she's naturally beautiful.
Alabama further mentioned that, except for her lips, she has never gotten cosmetic surgery on any other part of her body. She said the online criticism over her body and appearance has been painful to endure, and the best thing she could do was ignore it.
Alabama Barker, back in 2023, shared that the reason her 'weight fluctuates' is her health issues, including her autoimmune condition, along with thyroid issues. The influencer was tagged as 'catfish', and addressing it, she said that it would actually help her if people kept their opinions and comments to themselves. She further mentioned that she really hoped young girls who watch her on TikTok would not think there's something wrong with gaining weight. She said:
"There is a certain point where if your health is getting affected by it, that you need to change it, but no… That's not the case for me, and I would appreciate it if you guys put yourself in my shoes."
