The duo’s chemistry became a talking point during the show, Splitsvilla 16. Earlier, in June 2026, Niharika had confirmed that she was single and was not dating anyone.
Now, after months of speculation, the couple went their separate ways. Amid this, people have grown curious to know about Sorab, who was once rumoured to be dating Arbaaz Khan’s ex-wife, Malaika Arora.
Love blossomed between Niharika Tiwari and Sorab Bedi on the show, Splitsvilla 16. Fans lovingly called the duo 'Sorika'. According to reports, they began dating in early 2026. However, their romance was short-lived. A while back, Niharika took to her Instagram Stories to announce their split. She wrote that they are no longer together. In the note, the Splitsvilla 16 star mentioned that there was nothing fake in their relationship. She added that whatever they shared was real and she would always respect that.
In the same note, Niharika explained that the breakup was required for her future, her growth, and most importantly, her peace of mind. Niharika shared that she does not want to give any reasons. Requesting privacy, Niharika said:
"But sometimes, you have to make certain decisions for your future, your growth, and most importantly, your peace of mind. This is one of those decisions for me. I don't want to give reasons, explanations, or make this a big deal. I simply request you to understand my decision, respect my privacy, and please don't turn this into something bigger than it is."
Sorab Bedi was reportedly born into a Punjabi Sikh family. He is an Indian model, actor and reality television personality who has gained recognition through television shows. He began his professional career in the fashion industry as a ramp model. He walked the runway for several fashion labels and appeared in many advertising campaigns and magazine features. Later, he transitioned into acting.
Sorab made his acting debut with the Hindi TV show, Chand Jalne Laga, in which he played the role of 'Raunak Sehgal'. With his performance on the TV soap opera, Sorab became a household name. Later, in 2025, he bagged a lead role in the TV series, Dilwali Dulha Le Jayegi. He rose to prominence with reality TV shows. Earlier this year, in 2026, he appeared as a contestant on the popular dating reality show MTV Splitsvilla. He also released his debut single in 2025.
Earlier, in March 2026, Sorab and Malaika sparked dating rumours as a video of the two partying and dancing together surfaced online. They were also seen sharing a warm hug, which further fuelled the dating speculation. In an interview with Zoom, Sorab shared that he felt very disappointed when people made assumptions about his relationship with Arbaaz Khan’s ex-wife, Malaika Arora.
Sorab was quick to dismiss the dating rumours and called them baseless. He clarified that the bond they share is nothing more than a friendship. Recalling their first meeting, Sorab shared that he was introduced to her by his mentors, Delnaz Daruwala and Vahbiz Mehta. Back then, Sorab was reportedly into modelling. After being introduced by his mentors, Sorab soon became part of the same social circle as Malaika. Eventually, he got the opportunity to attend the same parties where Malaika was also present.
Further, in the interview, Sorab mentioned that netizens were too quick to jump to conclusions without knowing the full story. He added that because the rumours involve a woman, such comments could negatively affect her mental health. Later, in an interview with Curly Tales, Malaika shared that she treats the rumours as a mere joke.
