Ben Affleck was there to support his brother, and he was also clapping enthusiastically for the cast. As the buzz surrounding the film continues to grow, the focus has shifted to Casey’s personal life.
For those unaware, Casey was previously married to Summer Phoenix. He is currently in a relationship with Caylee Cowan.
According to reports, Casey Affleck's girlfriend, Caylee Cowan, is an actress. She began her journey in community theatre in California and Arizona. Before she began auditioning for movies, Caylee worked on productions of Three Sisters and The Glass Menagerie, among others. She made her feature film debut in 2019 with the romantic drama, Sunrise in Heaven.
Over the years, Caylee has acted alongside several renowned faces like Nicolas Cage in Willy’s Wonderland. Some of her other works include Frank and Penelope, The Possession at Gladstone Manor, and Double Exposure.
Caylee has also delved into producing in addition to acting. She reportedly served as a producer on 2019’s The Peace Between, which followed the stories of three European refugees. In an interview, Caylee once shared, “I love making movies, and I want to get more into producing.”
While Caylee Cowan was born and raised in Los Angeles, she moved around a lot throughout her childhood. In fact, the actress went to 11 different schools while growing up. At that time, she struggled with dyslexia and a speech impediment. However, she eventually overcame these challenges once she reached her teenage years.
Coming to her relationship with Casey Affleck, the couple went Instagram official just 11 months after they first met. In a since-deleted post, Casey and Caylee could be seen at a Red Cross blood drive. The director referred to Caylee as “my love” in the caption, and shared that, even though his girlfriend was pretty squeamish when it came to things like needles and blood, she never backed away from donating. He wrote:
"Though she believably feigned nonchalance all the way to the donation location, once on the table with her sleeve rolled up, she was overheard quietly asking a staff member, 'Is there a chance I might die?'"
Caylee replied with “I love you so much” in the comments of the post. It is worth mentioning that their Instagram debut came after they were spotted kissing and embracing in public in Los Angeles.
Since going public with their romance, Caylee and Casey Affleck have never shied away from expressing their love for one another. For instance, during the premiere of her movie, Spinning Gold, the actress called their relationship “the best thing.”
She also added, “Being in love is just- it makes your whole world just colored and beautiful.” Meanwhile, to celebrate the first anniversary of their meeting, Casey gushed about his girlfriend, calling her “a deep and tender woman.” He said:
"My girl, you make me a better man every day. You could push me, and you could drag me, and you could carry me, but instead you just walk with me and talk with me and make me laugh."
In addition to admiring Casey Affleck as her boyfriend, Caylee also loves him as an actor. She claimed that he is one of the most underrated yet brilliant actors alive today. Caylee has also been open about wanting to work with Casey. However, she made it clear that even if he weren't an actor, she would still be head over heels for him.
