Ahead of 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day's' trailer launch, here's a quick look at all the cast and the characters they are meant to play in the film.

'Spider-Man' fans are having the best time of their lives after it was announced that the highly anticipated trailer of Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be released on March 18, 2026. Well, the buzz surrounding the trailer release has increased multiple-fold after it was revealed that the drop will be done in a never-before-seen fashion. For the unversed, Tom Holland, who plays ‘Peter Parker' a.k.a. ‘Spider-Man’ in the film, posted a video on Instagram where he shared that Spider-Man: Brand New Day will have a global fan-driven trailer launch.

Select fans will release pieces of their new trailer in an effort to showcase how much they appreciate the 'Spider-Man' fan community. Tom mirrored the same sentiment in the post's caption, writing, “No one can do it alone, not even Spider-Man. Follow along as the sun rises round the world and our Spider-Man community helps kick off the trailer launch for #SpiderManBrandNewDay!” So, as fans look forward to the trailer release, let us introduce you to the full list of actors who are confirmed to appear on Spider-Man: Brand New Day and what each of them will play or could portray, in addition to where you might recognise them from.  

Tom Holland as ‘Peter Parker' or ‘Spider-Man’

Tom Holland is all set to reprise his role as ‘Peter Parker' a.k.a. ‘Spider-Man’ in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. He has already made six appearances as the superhero character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). He was last seen as ‘Spider-Man’ in the 2021 film, Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Turning to Tom Holland's other endeavours outside playing ‘Spider-Man’, he has appeared in Apple TV's Cherry and The Crowded Room, and in Sony's live-action film, Uncharted. His other notable works on the big screen include The Devil All the Time, Chaos Walking, and Onward.  

Zendaya as ‘Michelle “M.J.” Jones’

Zendaya will be back playing the role of ‘Peter Parker's' love interest. However, at present, it is unclear how big of a role she will have in the upcoming film, Spider-Man: Brand New Day. It is worth noting that before the upcoming film releases in theatres, Zendaya will reprise her role as ‘Rue’ in Euphoria Season 3, which is scheduled to premiere on HBO Max on April 12, 2026. The very next day, on April 13, 2026, Zendaya will co-star in the A24 film, The Drama. She will also return as ‘Chani’ in Dune: Part Three, set to release on December 18, 2026.

Jacob Batalon comes back as ‘Ned Leeds’ 

Well, Spider-Man: Brand New Day would be incomplete without ‘Peter’s’ former best friend, ‘Ned Leeds’. With his addition, the lead trio of the MCU's first Spider-Man film trilogy will be complete. Although similar to Zendaya, we still do not know the extent of his role in the upcoming film. Fans of Jacob might have recently seen him in Prime Video's action comedy, The Wrecking Crew. Other projects that Jacob appeared on include Lift, Tarot, and Novicaine.  

Sadie Sink will make her debut in Brand New Day

One of the most anticipated additions in the MCU is none other than actress, Sadie Sink. She gained widespread recognition after appearing on the Netflix series, Stranger Things. Ever since it was revealed that Sadie would join the cast of Brand New Day, fans have gone into a frenzy trying to know which role she will appear in. Speculations have been high as she could play anything from a character linked to ‘The Punisher' to the X-Men member, ‘Jean Grey'. To mention, apart from Stranger Things, Sadie has been part of several hit projects like the Fear Street film series, Dear Zoe, American Odyssey, and more. 

Jon Bernthal appears as ‘Frank Castle' a.k.a. ‘The Punisher’ 

You might recognise Jon Bernthal for his famous portrayal of the anti-hero in Daredevil: Born Again. Now making it to the big screen, Joe's ‘The Punisher' will be seen in the upcoming Brand New Day. Based on what cinephiles have been saying online, he could be in charge of protecting Sadie's unnamed character. Well, we might get a hint of it soon when the trailer drops on March 18, 2026.

To note, Jon got his big break in the AMC production, The Walking Dead. Later, he appeared in projects like Defenders-Verse, Baby Driver, The Accountant 2, The Bear, and more. He will also be seen starring alongside his Brand New Day co-star, Tom Holland, in The Odyssey, which releases on July 24, 2026.  

Mark Ruffalo as ‘Bruce Banner' a.k.a. ‘The Hulk’

Marvel veteran actor, Mark Ruffalo is also expected to appear as 'Bruce Banner' a.k.a. 'Hulk' in a supporting role in the upcoming film. Apart from 'Hulk', as an Academy Award nominee, Mark is known for his roles in Crime 101, Foxcatcher, Mickey 17, and more.  

Marvin Jones III will play ‘Lonnie Lincoln' a.k.a. ‘Tombstone’ 

If reports are to be believed, ‘Tombstone’ is the first official villain of Brand New Day. And this character will be played by Marvin Jones III. However, this is not his first time playing the character. Previously, Marvin had voiced ‘Tombstone’ in the 2018 animated offering, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. In other roles outside this film, Marvin appeared in projects like Black Lightning and Shadow Force, among others.  

Other actors set to appear in Spider-Man: Brand New Day are Tramell Tillman and Liza Colon-Zayas, whose characters have yet to be revealed.
