Lily Phillips also mentioned that her AI twin is not a replacement; rather, it's a risqué reproduction. From her perspective, Lily AI might capture the real Lily's moods and personality, but the latter has real-life experiences outside the internet world, and she said her AI twin can never really recreate that.
Although AI is used to create another version of her, it doesn't mean she's okay with controversial deepfakes. Lily, in clear words, mentioned that consent and clarity matter to her. She said that there's a clear difference between her choosing to create an AI version of herself and someone using your face, body, or voice without her permission. She said:
"Being a public figure or working in adult entertainment doesn’t mean people should be able to do whatever they want with your image. If someone meant it seriously, I’d want them to understand that she’s AI and can’t share a real relationship or make a commitment. “It should be something enjoyable and fun, but with that distinction kept clear. I hope my fans will like interacting with Lily AI."
