Patrick Clancy sat down for an interview on CBS' 60 Minutes with his new wife, Rachel Danis, where they discussed various aspects of their relationship. A bonus clip from the extended interview has been released in which Danis recalled the moment she realized her relationship with Patrick was getting serious.
Recalling the same, Rachel said that it all happened just a few months after they met in March 2024. She revealed that on the day of the NYC Half Marathon, her sister paid a visit, and Pat was very warm and friendly towards her.
But while Rachel was talking with her sister, Patrick captured the candid moment. Patrick’s gesture and his understanding of the love the sisters share were enough to make her realize their relationship was becoming serious.
In the same conversation, Rachel also revealed that her friends were not very pleased with her relationship. When she informed her friends and family about Patrick, “Everyone paused”. After knowing about Patrick, her friends were ‘worried’, adding that she herself had hesitations, which did not last long.
Following Lindsay Clancy's mistrial announcement, Patrick Clancy and Rachel were spotted out and about, and social media users wondered if she was pregnant. The duo confirmed the news and accepted that they are ‘starting a family '. Not just this, Patrick said he can't wait to tell his kids about their late siblings, 5-year-old Cora, 3-year-old Dawson, and 8-month-old Callan.
On CBS' 60 Minutes, Patrick Clancy opened up about his side of the story after Lindsay Clancy's trial ended in a mistrial. Patrick was out of his home when his then-wife, Lindsay, strangled their three kids to death. When asked during a recent interview whether he feels he failed, Patrick said he tried his best.
Lindsay jumped from the second-story window after killing their three kids, as she allegedly tried to take her own life too. This left her paralyzed from the waist down. When Patrick testified, he said he found Lindsay in the yard when he got home and asked her about the kids.
But she didn’t mention harming the children. In the same interview, Patrick revealed that after Lindsay killed the kids, she said it was like a 'dream ’. In the same interview, Patrick Clancy was asked whether Lindsay has ever asked for forgiveness. To this, Patrick stated, 'No, but I gave it to her'. Lindsay and Patrick parted ways, and he has since moved on and is married to fertility specialist Rachel Danis.
