Megan Thee Stallion is one of the most beloved female rappers, dominating the music industry in recent years. Born Megan Jovan Ruth Pete, she caught everyone's attention for the first time after her freestyling clips started spreading on the internet like wildfire. This eventually led her to sign with her record label, 1501 Entertainment, in 2018. However, it wasn't until two years later, that is in 2020, that Megan released her debut studio album, Good News. With her growing popularity, Megan has released two more albums to date – Traumatizine (2022) and Megan, later reissued as Megan: Act II (2024).

Megan Thee Stallion's first relationship in the spotlight was with Moneybagg Yo. The duo's relationship turned romantic after they collaborated on two songs, Make a Bag (2018) and All Dat (2019). Megan even went Instagram official with her then-boyfriend in 2019, posting a loved-up photo on her grid. Unfortunately, their relationship ended up being pretty short-lived, as by January 2020, news broke that Megan and Moneybagg had decided to go their separate ways. During an appearance on Rap Life Radio, Moneybagg himself confirmed their breakup, stating, “it didn't work [out],” but he still wishes the best for Megan. The rapper went on to add that he is “really proud of her” and that he still has love for her and “no bad blood,” as per The U.S Sun.
Following their split, many fans wondered whether Megan and Moneybagg parted ways because the former engaged in a flirty online exchange with Trey Songz. While this happened in March 2019, the rumours were fueled further when The Shade Room, in November of the same year, shared a clip of Megan and Trey Songz together. However, Megan was quick to shut down all speculations and revealed that she had only publicly dated Moneybagg Yo at that point.
It was during the COVID-19 pandemic that Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez sparked dating rumours. Apparently, the pair was seen spending time in each other's company without maintaining social distancing guidelines. Megan and Tory even appeared together on several TikTok and Instagram Lives. Although Megan later clarified that she and Tory were nothing more than friends, their relationship seemed to take a turn for the worse in July 2020.
According to reports, the duo attended a party hosted by Kylie Jenner in her Hollywood Hills home. At the end of the night, when they left in an SUV alongside Megan's close friend, Kelsey Nicole, Trey ended up sh**ting Megan's foot after an argument arose. It wasn't until the hearing of the case that it was revealed that Megan did share an intimate relationship with Trey, contrary to what the rapper said before.
Similar to her first relationship in the spotlight, Megan Thee Stallion and rapper, Pardison “Pardi” Fontaine, also became close after they worked together in 2020. Their collaboration was on Megan's song, WAP, which also featured Cardi B. A year later, in February 2021, Megan spoke about her relationship with Pardi on her Instagram Live. Calling him “my boo”, she confessed that she really likes him. To add, Megan also described her boyfriend as “so calm and so sweet and very protective.”
The duo went strong for a few more years after that. Although we do not know when Megan and Pardi broke up, eagle-eyed fans noticed that the Grammy winner had unfollowed Pardi on Instagram in February 2023. This, along with a poem Pardi shared on social media, led everyone to believe the couple had split up.
Megan Thee Stallion's relationship with NBA player, Torrey Craig came to the forefront in August 2024. At the time, the rapper shared a TikTok video of the two doing a “couples challenge.” Later that month, Megan and Craig stepped out together for that Year's New York Fashion Week. This was their first public outing as a couple. In January 2025, a mirror selfie of Megan and Craig looking cosy caught the attention of internet users. However, in the same month, according to a report by Sports Illustrated, rumours of Craig cheating on Megan began to spread like fire. Although the star athlete denied the allegations, TMZ later reported that the duo had broken up in April 2025.
Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson were first linked together in July 2025. At the time, internet sleuths noticed the Dallas Mavericks player lounging in the background of one of Megan's photos. After Megan also made an appearance on Klay's IG grid, TMZ reported that the duo were officially dating. As of 2026, Megan and Klay Thompson's relationship still seems to be going strong. Previously, speaking with Page Six, the rapper revealed her thoughts on dating Klay Thompson. She said:
“I have never dated somebody so kind. This is my first relationship where I’ve ever been with somebody who’s genuinely a nice person, and he makes me genuinely happy.”
