Robin Williams was one of the greatest actors and comedians, who needs no introduction. From his comedies to dramatic roles, the way he portrayed each of his characters not only established him as one of the finest actors, but also helped him become renowned all around the globe. The actor left his fans and close ones in utter pain when, in 2014, he passed away at the age of 63.

The actor's death was said to be suicide by hanging, and reportedly, later it was revealed by an autopsy that the actor suffered from diffuse Lewy body dementia, which is a progressive and debilitating brain disease. Apart from that, he was also misdiagnosed with early-stage Parkinson's disease. While his passing left a hole in his fans' hearts, a recent viral post has left them confused.

Robin Williams' daughter lashed out at social media users who claimed her dad was still alive

Conspiracy theories have been circulating that Robin Williams is still alive, and his daughter, Zelda, has now come forward to respond to the false claims about her father. Robin Williams was married three times and had three children, whom he welcomed with his first and second wife. He welcomed his son, Zak, with his first wife, and Zelda and Cody with his second.

Several theories suggest Robin Williams was still alive. It so happened that Zelda recently took to her social media handle and reposted a fan's comment, which could be read as:

"Lmfao you’re daddy’s still alive and you know that cuz you’re a sellout demon too you vampires never die. His name is @unc.pappy now."

The fan mentioned the Instagram account Uncle Pappy (Carlyle Blair), a famous influencer with more than a million followers. On social media, he drew significant attention for using old-age face filters and AI to change his voice. Zelda slammed the social media user, calling out his statement by adding that she will not shade Uncle Puppy, who does impressions. Calling the user out, Zelda, on her social media, wrote:

“You think the guy who has openly admitted on his page he’s using an old age filter is my Dad? That guy? No shade to Unc Pappy, he seems like an upbeat dude who does impressions, but as for you aggressively wrong dumba–, AI is going to absolutely destroy your grasp on reality.”

Zelda shared another video of Blair Carlyle, revealing his real identity. She also shared how multiple conspiracy theorists sent the same video to her, accusing her of being part of a huge network and misleading them about her father's death.

Zelda went on to mention that it actually makes her feel good about some of the people who are actually 'dispelling this madness' as opposed to 'feeding it'. Having said that, she doesn't blame Uncle Pappy for the “ridiculous rumor" as people even tend to believe the 'insane things' while it's clear from the upbeat creator's handle that he uses techniques in his content.

Zelda Williams bared her heart out, following the death of her father, Robin Williams

In an interview back in 2015, Zelda talked about losing her father. She stated that there's just no point in asking why her dad committed suicide, as they don't have any explanation regarding that; thus, people should stop blaming. She went on to add that it would take her a long time to come to terms with the fact that she lost her dad, and anybody who has lost a close one could easily understand how much work it takes.

For the actor, who won hearts with his amazing acting in movies like Good Morning, Vietnam, Dead Poets Society, and Mrs. Doubtfire, laughter was most important. Speaking more about the same, Zelda said:

"A lot of people feel his absence. The side of him that people know and love... is the characters that he had so much fun being. I do think that's what a lot of people will hold on to. That's not going anywhere. They knew a dad that he was proud of them knowing. Laughter was incredibly important to him."

What do you think about Zelda's anger about the fake claims about her dad, who died more than a decade ago?
