According to reports, Phoebe Gates and her boyfriend, Chaz Flynn, began dating when they were in high school in Seattle, Washington. While they met nearly 16 years ago, after graduating from school, they eventually went their separate ways.
The duo sparked romance rumours when Phoebe and Chaz were seen on a dinner date in Manhattan in May 2021. They were accompanied by Phoebe's father, Bill Gates, and ate at the trendy hotspot, Nobu. As per reports, the trio flew into Newark, New Jersey, on the same flight before their dinner in New York.
Phoebe finally decided to go Instagram official with Chaz in December 2025. At the time, she posted an adorable photo of herself cuddling up to her new boyfriend. In the picture, the duo could be seen dressed up in formal attire, with Chaz holding a martini glass in his hand.
Their hard launch was met with a lot of love from Phoebe's close friends. This includes Grace Murdoch, daughter of media mogul, Rupert Murdoch and his third wife, Wendi Weng. Notably, late Fast and Furious actor, Paul Walker's daughter, Meadow Rain Walker, also wished the couple.
The Instagram account for Phoebe's podcast, The Burnouts, labelled her and Chaz as “the cutest couple.” Meanwhile, her podcast co-host, Sophia Kianni, offered her congratulations in the comments by writing, “Love you guysss. Yay.” One of Chaz’s family members, Sophie Flynn, wrote, “Been waiting for this one.”
It is worth mentioning that Chaz Flynn is not a fan of social media. During a September 2025 episode of The Burnouts, Phoebe revealed the same while talking to her guest, Gary Vee. She said:
"I'm dating a guy who literally doesn't have Instagram. Like, he deletes it.”
However, Phoebe has backed her boyfriend’s decision to remain off social media. She called it an “amazing” aspect of their relationship and claimed that she had never been with someone like this. Well, Chaz Flynn does seem to have an Instagram account, but it is currently set to private. He has 4388 followers and has only 5 posts.
According to Phoebe, Chaz is one of her biggest supporters when it comes to working with her digital fashion brand, Phia. His not being active on social media also allows him to give her feedback without being influenced by what everyone is saying online. She said in her podcast:
"I'm like, 'Ok, well, sit on down, bud. Let me show you the new video that we just dropped on the Phia account because I put my left titty into producing this thing, Ok? So, you're going to sit here, and you're going to watch it.' And he's like, 'Ok.'"
According to reports, Phia’s AI-driven browser extension purportedly recorded a number of ‘fake clicks’ on retail websites, leading them to gain commission on sales that they never generated. As of now, Phia has rectified the issue. A spokesperson for the brand stated:
“Within the last 24 hours, we were made aware that in a recent release our codebase was causing misattributions from a subset of users.”
Once they were made aware of the issue, the spokesperson revealed that their team had worked throughout the night to resolve it. They also assured that Phia undergoes regular audits by their affiliate network partners and has “always maintained compliance."
