Jennifer Lawrence is currently making immense buzz online after having confirmed getting plastic surgery. She has finally put an end to months of social media commentary about her changed appearance, admitting that she underwent breast augmentation to feel better about her body. The 36-year-old made the candid revelations during her interview with The Cut, and even posed for some sultry shots for the publication.
In one of the photos, Jennifer went almost topless, wearing low-rise pants and a structured jacket with nothing underneath. She flaunted a part of her surgically enhanced upper body in the black-and-white shot. In another picture, Jennifer wore a black top with a plunging neckline, and a third one featured her showing off her slender legs in a white, sleeveless, flowy dress. Jennifer Lawrence showed her rare, bold side in the photos, which received mixed reviews from netizens.
The Hunger Games actress' new set of photos drew attention to her face more than her almost bare upper body. Netizens commented, "Doesn't look like her" and "She's unrecognizable in these pictures and I don't mean it as a compliment." One Internet user wrote, "What happened to her face?! No one on the marketing team could say she looks dead in the eyes?!" Another stated, "She ruined her face."
Some others pointed out the disappearance of Jennifer Lawrence's "hooded eyes" and predicted the reason to be either plastic surgery or bad retouching of the photos. "Are we pretending she didn't have eye surgery?," wrote one and "We used to be hooded eye twins," commented another.
During her conversation with The Cut, Jennifer Lawrence revealed that she had a breast augmentation, and she is planning to get a facelift someday. She admitted that she went under the knife because of her desire to be a 'sexy mom'. She added that she wants to look like a woman who is gorgeous even when she has just woken up. She said:
"I want to be a sexy mom. At drop-off, I want to look like a woman that has her s—t together even when I've just woken up and don't have my s—t together."
Jennifer expressed her wish to get a breast augmentation in October 2025 after welcoming her second child with her husband, Cooke Maroney. As for other beauty treatments, Jennifer revealed that she often gets baby Botox and if she could she would get buccal fat removal, but its possibility seems unlikely to her. It is worth mentioning that the Oscar-winning actress officially entered the beauty business with Mes, which is a three-product hair care line.
On dyeing her hair, Jennifer said that when she was new, she didn't have the guts to say no. She revealed that during an X-Men screen test, they dyed her hair red, brown and black, and then platinum blond, all in the same day. Jennifer revealed that by the time she finished the second Hunger Games film, her hair was so damaged she cut it short into a pixie cut.
