The 29-year-old took to Instagram on October 27, 2026, to announce that she is expecting her first baby with her mystery boyfriend. While Chrisley did not reveal the identity of her boyfriend, she revealed that he came into her life while she was going through heartbreak.
For those unaware, Savannah Chrisley was previously in a relationship with Robert Shiver. Robert had made headlines in July 2023 after he survived an alleged murder plot.
Robert Shiver survived an alleged murder-for-hire plot involving his ex-wife, Lindsay Shiver
Robert tied the knot with his ex-wife, Lindsay Shiver, in 2007. The former couple welcomed three children together. After years of marriage, Robert filed for divorce in April 2023 after learning of Lindsay’s “adulterous conduct.”
It all began when they prepared to travel to the Bahamas with their three boys. According to Lindsay, her then-husband became "aggressive" and forbade her to get on the family's private jet since she was planning to spend time in the Bahamas with her new boyfriend. Robert Shiver later told policemen:
“I told her, I’m not supporting that. You’re not getting on the airplane. That can mess with the kids’ heads. It’s just something we’re not going to do.”
Things took a turn for the worse after they arrived in the Bahamas at the Shiver family’s townhouse at the Baker’s Bay Golf & Ocean Club in Great Guana Cay. At the time, Robert was seen arm-in-arm with another woman at a nearby bar. These photos were reportedly sent to Lindsay.
Bahamian authorities claimed that following this, Lindsay sent a WhatsApp group text to her then-boyfriend, Terrance Bethel, a bartender, and his friend, Farron Newbold Jr., including Robert Shiver’s pictures and the woman at the bar. Her chilling two-word message read, “Kill him.”
Five days after the incident, on July 21, 2023, police finally arrested Lindsay, Bethal, and Newbold. The accused Robert's ex-wife and her lover enlisted the help of Newbold in a murder-for-hire plot. After being charged with conspiracy to commit murder, the trio pleaded not guilty. In a 2024 interview with ABC News, Bethal, who had stopped seeing Lindsay at that point, denied the existence of a murder-for-hire plot. He said:
"Nobody ever wanted Robert dead. I’m definitely not guilty of conspiracy to commit murder, and [Farron] is not guilty of being a hired hitman. It’s time to let the world know that we’re innocent.”
Meanwhile, when Robert and Savannah Chrisley split in March 2025, the podcaster blamed Lindsay for playing a role in why they decided to separate. She explained on Unlocked:
“I don't think I will ever forgive her for what she has put Robert and the boys through. I don't believe that Robert and I would be where we [are] today if she hadn't caused so much mass destruction."
Savannah Chrisley is expecting her first child
On Tuesday, October 27, 2026, Chrisley revealed that she is expecting her first child with her boyfriend, whom she only identified as “J.” In an Instagram post, she shared a montage of clips documenting her pregnancy so far. Alongside it, Chrisley wrote that she had prayed for this life, cried for this life, but had also gone through moments where she wondered if this life would ever be hers.
Savannah Chrisley said that she had gone through “seasons of heartbreak.” She said that after she went through all that, God sent her J. She gushed about how he can even make her laugh on her hardest days. Chrisley added that she is glad her baby will get to call him Daddy.
