It was tough and heartbreaking for Ozzy's wife, Sharon, as well as for their kids. Sharon and Ozzy's three kids, Kelly, Aimee, and Jack, were left deeply hurt, and they stood as a strong pillar of support for their mom and made sure that she wouldn't feel alone in the toughest phase of life.
Sharon and Ozzy's son, Jack, was in Los Angeles on the day his father passed away. He was given the news by an old employee and instantly flew to England to be with the grieving family. Jack was also heavily affected by the passing of his father, and in a recent interview, he revealed how he actually got some otherworldly signs from his dad, Ozzy, a few months after his passing.
Jack sat down for an interview on the Good Night with Ben Gleib YouTube show and revealed that he was in Mexico for a shoot and was in a really bad mood. Jack shared that he was not in the right headspace and that his mind was filled with negative thoughts.
He was walking through the airport with his headphones on when a boy, while running through the airport, bumped into him. While Jack was almost angry, he saw a Black Sabbath patch on the guy's vest, which made him somewhat understand the 'message' meant for him. To quote Jack:
"I end up getting to the airport and I’m just in my head having one of those real negative, like s***y just whatever moments. And I got my backpack on, headphones marching through this airport and someone comes running up next to me and bumps me. At which point, I’m like, ‘The f***?’ And I look up and this guy runs off. He was clearly late for a flight and he’s wearing a Black Sabbath patch on the back of his vest. I’m like, ‘OK, message heard.’”
In the same interview, Jack Osbourne revealed that he received another sign. During a flight, he took off his headphones to hear the announcements properly. No sooner did he remove his headphones than he heard someone playing his dad's music. He looked around and saw a 65- to 70-year-old man listening to his dad's song, and it confirmed for him that the message was meant for him. Jack said:
"I’m in the back of the plane. I’m sat there. I just want to get home to see my kids. And then I take my headphones out because they’re making the announcement. I’m like, just making sure I’m on the right plane. All of a sudden, I hear my dad’s music playing. And I look over to my right and there must’ve been this 65-70 year old Mexican cowboy dude sat there, just watching one of my dad’s music videos. I’m just kind of like, ‘What the f***?’ OK, message heard. Message heard.”
Speaking about his father's demise in a YouTube video, Jack Osbourne said that someone came up to his home at 3 in the morning, and no sooner did he realize that it was an old employee than he understood that something was not right. Jack further mentioned that he knew something was wrong, and when he was informed about his father's death, it was pain, sadness, and so many thoughts that occupied him. Jack mentioned that it was a mixed feeling, including frustration, sadness, and also a feeling that his father would not suffer anymore.
