Add BollywoodShaadis on GoogleCandace Owens is a well-known political commentator, author and conspiracy theorist. However, it seems she has currently fallen victim to some theories herself. The buzz began with Lilly Gaddis' tweet about Candace's death. While she deleted the tweet soon after, netizens were left confused as her recent inactivity on social media came into focus.
Podcaster, Candace Owens' Twitter and Instagram activity has been in focus after a now-deleted Instagram post alleged that the American far-right political commentator had passed away. The post was made by her fellow podcaster, Lilly Gaddis, who is known for The Lilly Show. However, leaving the fans completely shocked. What made things even more concerning was that, while Lilly deleted the post, Candace did not address it directly and remained quiet about this surreal claim.
The buzz around Candace Owens' death started with a post by Lilly Gaddis. In an X post, Lilly claimed that Candace's family had reached out to her and informed her of the American far-right political commentator's passing. A part of her tweet could be read as:
"Candace Owen’s family reached out to me earlier this morning. It is with deep sadness and sorrow that I am sharing the passing of my long-time friend and fellow political commentator, Candace. But I also can’t shake the feeling that this wasn’t simply a random tragedy. There are circumstances surrounding Candace’s death, especially after Charlie’s passing, that raise serious questions, and I hope the full truth comes to light. I want to respect her family’s privacy, so I will refrain from sharing any further details. Please stay posted."
It was later on June 20, 2026 (ET), that Lilly issued a clarification on the matter. In a long tweet, Lilly revealed that only two people have had access to her X account: a thumbnail designer and a man named "JDaley." The latter contacted her, offering help with social media and advertising, claiming he had connections at YouTube and had managed other creators as well. However, soon enough, another creator named Emily reached out to her and warned her about the man, alleging that he had misused her account access, including deleting content, stealing money, and impersonating management roles. A part of the post read:
"I soon removed him from both once I realised he was full of shit and just a weirdo trying to talk and couldn't actually help with anything. @emilysavesusa reached out to me, asking if I had ever communicated with him and warned me to remove him from any access to my accounts, as he had done the same thing to her, and after she removed him, he deleted his content on YouTube, fraudulently stole money from her and others and was not who he claimed to be."
She further shared that the guy was the one who was posting some insane stuff on her account. Lilly revealed that she woke up to dozens of texts about her alleged tweet about Candace's passing. She concluded, "Of course, I can't prove it's him, so I'll say this is all alleged. But Emily can confirm everything I just said." She was quoted as saying:
"It just dawned on me that he is the only one who could be posting these insane posts on my account. He is the only one who had any access to our information. This morning, I woke up with dozens of people texting me about the insane Candace Owens tweet, and prior to that, there was a post about some event that I was 'announcing my participation' in, which I also did not post. I have updated all my information, so hopefully he will not be able to do this again."
There is no official or family confirmation about her death. The next episode of her podcast is set to release on Monday, June 22, 2026. However, Lilly's clarification is enough to confirm it was a hoax.
