Soon after the clip showing Sakshi introducing herself as a man-hater went viral on social media, netizens slammed her and criticised her for her insensitive remarks. A Redditor wrote, "It's so sad that she is a teacher. What if she inculcates her students to hate 'mens' as well or tell them that 'mens' are bad. How can someone say they hate their Father because he's a man. I actually hope she was playing a character."

Another Redditor commented, "Exactly, she just wanted to look cool and funny. Also she got the reach Jo usko chaiye thi, so yes, it was a win-win for her (agar koi case na kare to. Vo belt wali baat pe." Recently, Sakshi took to her Instagram handle to share a light-hearted Reel with stand-up comedian Samay Raina. The Reel left the internet divided. A user wrote, "I am a woman. And I also give you zero." Another user commented, "Not gonna lie, I feel so bad for her father and brother."

A few users showed pity on the contestant. A user wrote, "Humble request to all the men, please don't hate comment her, she got her lesson in the show itself, stop it here. I hope the mard samaj will understand that forgiving is the greatest chivalry." Another user commented, "Funny how people have endless opinions but very little to show for them. Agree or disagree with her views, that's completely fine, but she had the courage to stand on a stage and speak her mind. Reaching that platform takes years of effort, consistency, and hard work." Another comment can be read as:

"Seriously not going to lie, you made the episode much better. People hated you for being real, and I totally understand how anyone with a bad experience with men will feel like this, and almost every woman can relate to how you feel about toxic men or egoistic men. This could be better if you had not put those belt things. I understand it can be reversing character as humour, but I don't prefer such things as jokes, and now seriously every men gonna hate you, as you have seen every man on the panel gave you 0, but a sensible person like Balraj commented here."
