Actor Harshad Chopda revealed details about his sexual abuse as a child and how it traumatised him throughout his life.

However, his surprise exit on Judgement Day shocked his fans. But before his eviction, Harshad made everyone in the house emotional by talking about a traumatic chapter from his life.
In one of the episodes of the show, the actor was supposed to reveal a childhood secret of his life and he revealed how he was abused by someone, who was trusted by his parents and the whole community. Revealing his traumatic ordeal, Harshad said:
“I was around 9-10 years old. Our parents tend to trust other people with their children. Once they had left me with some trusted people, who were not only trusted by the family but by the whole community. As a child, I was a little submissive. In the night someone was rubbing himself on me. I was fully dressed it was just that someone was on top of me and rubbing.”
In the same conversation, Harshad also stated that he was so scared of the incident that he couldn’t fathom what was happening to him. The actor also stated that the man in question would often do something, which for him as a child was difficult to understand. In his words:
“I acted like I was sleeping. I have never told anyone about this before because I didn't even know what had happened. My pet name is Monu. He called me to the balcony to show me something for which he had to lift me. Then again he was picking me up and doing something which again I did not understand. I did not know how to question. I was scared.”
While narrating his childhood trauma, Harshad requested parents to never leave their kids alone with someone. He also urged parents to talk to their children on regular basis to understand what they are going through in their life. Harshad also accepted that the trauma he faced as a child was one of the reason behind his fear towards gay men.
Harshad Chopda was recently eliminated from the show and it came as a shock to many. However, it was Shivangi Joshi, who was very emotional with Harshad’s exit. After the eviction round, Shivangi was seen picking up his bedsheet and blanket and going to sleep outside the cell. After picking it up, Shivangi was heard saying that she doesn't know who slept where, but Harshad told her that this was his and she is taking it as she is feeling lonely.
As soon as the episode aired, photos of the same are going viral. One user on Reddit wrote, "The way she was overacting while throwing the sand bags. They really think it’s Ekta’s daily soap going on!" A second one pointed, "Bro how much delusional can u be to literally do that and expect ppl to believe this is bhai behen wala pyaar? Atleast stfu now."
Ever since Harshad and Shivangi became a part of Lock Upp 2, they were each other constant support. Many co-contestants pointed out their relationship. However, when Shilpa Shinde called them lovers, Harshad lost his cool and clarified that he only sees Shivangi as a friend.
