Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel's controversy has been going on constantly, and amid this, the former NFL reporter gets a new job offer, which is effective the moment she wants to get back to business.
Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini's controversy has grabbed all the attention. Dianna, who was employed with The Athletic, in the midst of the controversy, resigned, mentioning that she wouldn't let anyone define her career.
It so happened that Mike and Dianna, who are married to their respective partners, were seen cosying up, leading to a cheating scandal, and it's ongoing. While Mike Vrabel hasn't been fired, nor has he made any decision to step away from his designation at The Patriots, Dianna's career faced setbacks. Amid this, Dianna got a job offer, which can be effective from the moment she wants to get back to the business.
To mention, when Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel's controversy erupted, The Athletic showed full support to the former NFL insider and reporter. During that time, Dianna's friend Jon “Stugotz” Weiner said that if the company would fire her, he would have an open spot for the former NFL reporter. Well, after that, Dianna released a statement, claiming that while she is grateful for the support she has gotten from The Athletic, she would step down from her designation, given the fact that she would never let anyone define her career.
On the other hand, sources revealed to the Daily Mail that Mike Vrabel feels remorse that Dianna's career seemingly has come to an end, for this particular controversy, so much so that she might not be able to work ever again. However, amid this, Dianna got a job opportunity yet again.
As her friend, Jon “Stugotz” Weiner still has a spot open for her. In his podcast, Stugotz & Company, he said that he previously mentioned that if Dianna is fired, then he would hire her, but in this case, Dianna stepped down, and The Athletic didn't fire her, and thus, she holds the offer forever. He further mentioned that if Dianna wants to get back to the game, be it in days, months, or years, she has a place to work with him. Jon “Stugotz” Weiner said that Dianna has her side of the story to say and that he's simply going to help her friend. Jon “Stugotz” Weiner could be quoted as saying:
"I did say if The Athletic fired her, I would hire her. They didn’t fire her. She stepped down from The Athletic, and the offer holds forever. If Dianna Russini decides one day, three months from now, a year from now, two years from now, that she wants to get back into this game, she has a place right here. I am simply saying, it’s her story to tell, it’s not my story, and I am simply going to support my friend."
As Dianna Russini stepped down from her position, people have been asking about Mike Vrabel's future with the Patriots, too. But as of now, there's no such buzz about Mike being fired or choosing to resign. To mention, reports are there that in Dianna's case, her deeds were against her work ethics, which was not a similar case for Mike, which is why he wouldn't be fired, possibly.
Sources revealed to the Daily Mail that the Patriots have no wish to let Mike go, and they also don't want him to resign; however, for what it's worth, the situation can go even darker. This might happen that they would have to fire the coach, or he might have to choose parting ways with the Patriots, and in that case, the owners have reportedly started eyeing a potential replacement.
