For the unversed, Brooklyn Beckham, the elder son of Victoria Beckham and David Beckham, separated from his parents back in January 2026. He accused his parents of manipulating him and ruining his relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz. Months have passed, but the tension between Brooklyn and his parents is still on.
As Nicola Peltz made her Venice Film Festival debut, Brooklyn stood by her and became her biggest support system. Amid this, Brooklyn’s estranged brother, Cruz, shared a heartfelt family picture on his Instagram.
A while back, Cruz Beckham took to his Instagram handle to share a family picture. The picture featured Victoria Beckham, David Beckham, Cruz Beckham, Romeo and Harper. Cruz captioned the post with a red heart emoji. Netizens showered love on the picture. A user commented, "Lovely family photo as always." However, some users took a dig at the Beckham family and called them fake. A user wrote:
"You’re kissing up to your parents because they have money, while your brother was absolutely right to leave. This family reeks of fakeness and seems to care about nothing but power and fame. It’s honestly pathetic!"
Another user penned, "This family is not normal; they are always touching each other, which makes me cringe. Something is seriously wrong with Vic, those poor kids, unless they do what the oldest son did, they are never getting free of mommy dearest." Cruz dropped the family picture while Brooklyn is busy with Nicola’s Venice Film Festival debut.
In fact, while Brooklyn is busy supporting his wife, the rest of the Beckhams have been supporting Cruz after his band landed a spot playing at the Reading and Leeds festivals. A few days back, Cruz took to his Instagram handle to share an emotional note.
Expressing gratitude, Cruz wrote, "I am so grateful for everyone around me; not only are they my best friends, but they are family. This journey has been so incredible, and I have learned so much because of these people." He gave a special mention to his girlfriend, Jackie Apostel. He wrote:
"Last but definitely not least, Jackie, you honestly have no idea how lucky we are to have you; not only do you take care of me but this whole operation, from creative to strategy to mgmt. We are a team and would not be doing this without you. I really love you so much."
Earlier, this year, in January 2026, Brooklyn Beckham took to his Instagram Stories to share a six-page statement. In the note, he mentioned that he tried his best to keep the matter away from the limelight over the years and remained silent. In the note, Brooklyn highlighted that he doesn’t want to reconcile with his family.
In the same note, Brooklyn revealed how his parents tried to spoil his relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz. He mentioned his mom, Victoria, canceled Nicola’s wedding dress at the last moment, leaving her heartbroken. In fact, Victoria also hijacked their first dance as husband and wife. He shared that his mom danced very inappropriately with him in front of the guests.
Further in the note, Brooklyn added that his wife, Nicola, was constantly disrespected by his family. He stated that his family values public promotion and endorsement above everything. He wrote:
"Brand Beckham comes first. The narrative that my wife controls me is completely backwards. I have been controlled by my parents for most of my life. I grew up with overwhelming anxiety. For the first time in my life, since stepping away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared. I wake up every morning grateful for the life I chose, and have found peace and relief."
