Latest prison records have revealed that Bryson Bryant was taken into custody on May 1, 2026. He is currently in a Georgia detention facility and is facing charges of failure to pay child support, violating probation, and failure to appear in court. His bond has been set at USD 27,000.
According to the legal documents, Bryson Bryant reportedly breached the conditions of a probation order in 2024. The court filings have revealed that there were multiple violations, such as failing to report to probation since sentencing, not completing the substance abuse assessment, neglecting community service, and making no payments towards a fine.
The probation violation is linked to an incident from 2024 where Bryson Bryant was allegedly found in possession of fentanyl. Notably, Bryson used the name of Brentt Leaked, the youngest son of NeNe Leakes, when he was questioned by the officers. Bryson was also charged with using a false name to law enforcement and controlled substance possession. Bryson eventually entered a plea deal, and a count of possession against him was dropped.
However, he received 12 months of probation, which was a result of his pleading guilty to the misdemeanor offense of providing false information to a law enforcement officer. Apart from the probation of 12 months, Bryson had to pay a fine of USD 500, alongside completing 40 hours of community service for the first six months. He also had to submit to random drug tests as directed by his probation officer.
As mentioned, the latest legal problem of Bryson Bryant in May 2026 is not the first time he has landed himself in trouble. He was previously taken into custody in Georgia on July 3, 2023, and taken to the Gwinnett County Jail, where he was held on a USD 3,700 bond. Apart from charges linked to violation of probation and possession of a controlled substance, he was facing charges of violating probation in a separate case.
The arrest happened when Bryson was sitting in a car, and the neighbours called the police about the vehicle. When the police arrived, one of the officers reportedly saw a small bag with a white substance inside the car, which was later revealed as fentanyl. Bryson allegedly gave a false name to the officers, and his real identity was unknown to the police until they took him into custody.
Bryson Bryant was previously arrested twice while driving in 2011 and 2012. While the first case was a result of driving under the influence, the second happened when he was found with a suspended license. In 2012, he was taken into custody after reportedly stealing some items at Walmart. Three years later, Bryson was arrested for being involved with a group that allegedly planned to prepare fake checks. Notably, in the fake checks case, Bryson reportedly used a false name another time.
