The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 53, shared a series of alarming videos over the weekend detailing her exhausting treatment routine, revealing that she now spends roughly 18 hours a day receiving IV medication as doctors continue searching for answers about the mysterious issues affecting her face.
And in her latest update, Glanville made another shocking claim. She revealed that an ultrasound allegedly showed something "alive" and "moving" inside her face, after previously mentioning facial parasites behind her disfigurement. The reality TV star can no longer taste food and has undergone tremendous weight loss through her treatment.
In one of her videos shared over the weekend, Brandi shared a raw glimpse into what her life has been like lately. The 53-year-old wrote alongside the video, "For the first time, I’m showing you what my life has really looked like behind closed doors. The treatments. The IVs. The exhaustion. The days nobody saw."
Glanville showed followers her elaborate IV setup as she prepared medication in her kitchen, explaining that the treatment has taken a significant toll on her physically. "I'm so skinny right now," she said, adding that she has struggled to eat and cannot properly taste her food. Speaking about her current situation, she said, "I feel like death. I look like death."
The reality star shared that her daily regimen now involves multiple infusions and extensive preparation that takes around 18 to 20 hours of her day. One of the medications she identified was imipenem, an antibiotic generally used to treat serious bacterial infections. According to Glanville, a nurse visits her home for several hours each evening to administer part of the treatment, while she handles another infusion herself. She then begins another round of IV treatment that continues overnight.
The demanding schedule has left Glanville largely confined to her home, except when she does her podcast, which is "the only time I leave my house." Despite the exhausting routine, she wanted to finally give followers an honest look at what her life has been like away from the public eye.
In another video, the reality star opened up about what she assumes are facial parasites that have affected her face. Glanville said medical imaging showed "something alive" inside the left side of her face and claimed it was moving. "And she'd never seen anything like it," she said, referring to the ultrasound technician. A radiologist also allegedly reviewed the findings.
The Bravo alum shared footage of the ultrasound examination and told followers she is finally beginning to get answers after years of searching for an explanation. She shared that she would share further updates once she gets more clarity on her condition.
Glanville has publicly documented her facial health struggles since 2023. Over the years, she has received different explanations and diagnoses while describing severe swelling, painful lumps and changes to her appearance. She previously said she believed she could feel an unknown "parasite" moving beneath her skin, describing sensations resembling tiny bubbles bursting.
In 2023, Glanville was diagnosed with stress-induced angioedema, a condition that can cause significant swelling. But her health problems continued, leading her to spend substantial amounts of money searching for answers. Earlier this year, she said she had consulted 21 doctors and spent approximately USD 200,000 trying to determine the cause of her ongoing facial issues.
Glanville has also previously linked some of her health concerns to ruptured breast implants and said she later underwent surgery to have them removed. More recently, she revealed that she had been told she had a benign tumor in one of her facial lymph nodes. Despite sharing extensive details about her treatments, Glanville says she is still not ready to publicly reveal exactly what doctors now believe is causing her current condition.
