However, lately, there has been buzz around the film claiming it was inspired by another animated masterpiece. Now, Baahubali: The Eternal War has responded to comparisons with Kung Fu Panda and revealed whether there is any truth to the ongoing speculations.

Is Baahubali: The Eternal War action sequence inspired by Kung Fu Panda?

When the teaser for the film was attached to Baahubali: The Eternal War, people thought a particular sequence was inspired by Kung Fu Panda. Ishan recently held an AMA on Reddit, and netizens flooded the comments with questions for the animator. However, it was one particular question that had everyone's attention, and Ishan made sure to put the debate to rest by answering it for once and for all.

Ishan Shukla posted the thread on the channel WorldofBaahubali, and a fan asked him about the similarities between the two films. Especially the scene where Indra fights a red character. The statement could be read as:

"The sequence where Indra and the red monster-like character fight, some bits, like the pillars being thrown and the red character trying to climb up from one end. And the frame of all the pillars being stuck to the character - these looked inspired by certain King Fu Panda scenes - like the Jailbreak and Bridge fight. Thought these were cool homages."

The director, Ishan Shukla, responded to the speculations and claimed in his response that he had never watched Kung Fu Panda but was aware of these comparisons. On Reddit, Ishan wrote that fans were drawing parallels between the two films based on the floating debris fight sequence. However, once they see the film, they will understand that it has a very specific meaning to the story. He was quoted as saying:

"I have not seen this Kung Fu Panda, but I am aware of the comparison. I think you are drawing similarities because both have an aerial fight with floating debris. This floating debris has a very specific meaning in the story. You will see!"

The team that worked on 'Spider-Verse' and 'Arcane' is working on Baahubali: The Eternal War, confirms Ishan Shukla

The director, Ishan Shukla, also confirmed that the team behind Spider-Verse and Arcane was working on Baahubali: The Eternal War. Responding to yet another Redditor, Ishan shared that the team that worked on Alcyde was also working on his film. His comment was quoted as saying:
