Beyond her professional life, Emily has also drawn attention for her personal life. She was married to American singer-songwriter and composer Jack Anthony, and the marriage ended after five months. The actress once revealed what went wrong in their relationship.
Emily Osment spoke about her divorce from Jack Anthony
The Young Sheldon star, Emily and Anthony married on Oct. 12, 2024, after getting engaged in June 2023. Within two months of their marriage, the duo separated in December, 2023. In March 2024, Emily filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. Emily and Anthony had a prenuptial agreement before tying the knot.
Because their short-term marriage didn’t involve any children, the divorce raised no custody issues. The prenuptial agreement also allowed them to quickly finalize their confidential settlement. Both parties also waived spousal support rights. In an interview with PEOPLE, Emily revealed the reason behind her broken marriage and said:
“I think with any big decision in your life, whether it’s relationships or work or whatever it may be, you have to firmly plant both feet in that decision. Ultimately, it didn’t work out."
Osment and Anthony got engaged during a trip to Yosemite National Park in California. Ahead of their wedding, the Young & Hungry star spoke to PEOPLE and shared her excitement for the ceremony as she said:
“I cannot wait to be married. I wish we could just jump to that. It's so exciting, and we have to constantly remind ourselves, you're only going to do this once.”

In 2002, Emily Osment was briefly linked to actor Daryl Sabara, best known for playing ‘Juni Cortez’ in the Spy Kids franchise. However, their relationship couldn’t stand the test of time, and the duo parted ways. In 2008, she was rumored to be dating her co-star, Mitchel Musso. However, the relationship didn’t last long, and they decided to remain friends.
In 2009, she began dating Tony Oller, her co-star from As the Bell Rings. Their on-screen connection turned into real-life romance, and the ex-couple often appeared together at events, showcasing their love. By 2010, the pair had split. In 2012, Emily began dating actor Nathan Keyes. Their relationship took off while they worked on a project, but it was short-lived and ended in 2013.
In 2013, Emily started dating Jimmy Tatro and attended events together and often appeared in each other’s social circles. However, they ended their relationship in late 2014. In 2015, Emily began a long, serious relationship with fitness trainer and entrepreneur Jim Gilbert. Despite being madly in love, Emily and Jim parted ways amicably in 2019. In 2021, she met Jack Anthony and married him in 2024, but they separated after two months.
